 The official website of the anime movie adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Look Back manga announced the main cast on Thursday. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters in Japan on June 28. Actresses Yuumi Kawai and Mitsuki Yoshida are starring as Fujino and Kyomoto, respectively. Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers) is directing the anime movie at Studio Durian. He is also penning the script and designing the characters. Fujimoto published the one-shot manga on the Shounen Jump+ website in July 2021. Shueisha published the manga in a single volume in September that year. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English under its VIZ Signature imprint in February 2022 and released the volume in September of that year. | It turns out to be such a debut sequence for both the seiyuu and DURIAN. It's pretty good for an adaptation of a short by Tatsuki Fujimoto, though. Good luck to the girls! May there be more work and roles for them in the future. |

| The more I learn about this manga, the more surprised I am that it was written by the author of Chainsaw Man, and not some young locally famous author whose mangas are usually personal stories. |
