Well, I might give this one an episode but the style of the CG has already irked me in the first PV. In terms of CG, Girls Band Cry seems to be the superior upcoming anime.

One day we will get a racing anime without terribly animated cgi cars. This is not today sadly. (yes I know Redline exists but it took like 7 years to make. It is also a movie and not a tv show.)

@Calal-Chan Well, this level of CGI graphics is a poor attempt by A-CAT to save money. It's much cheaper to use these models than to draw every frame in detail.

But it's certainly beyond ridiculous. It's like I just watched the trailer of some Formula Race game from the 2000s lol. I don't know if Keitarou Motonaga's work will help this outrage somehow, but I highly doubt it. I'd rather read the manga that recently started its release.

@Omarumba

Yeah it is much cheaper, but like at what cost. A show no one is going to care about? They will probably lose money on this.

@Calal-Chan If even a small fraction of people buy something from the studio, it will more or less pay for itself. The show may be forgotten about immediately, but the profit will cover the cost of that awful CGI. In general, this is a common phenomenon for low-budget studios, which employs no more than 50 people, and here it is still an independent project.

Cast looks pretty huge. Which isnt necessarily a good thing.

It's an original too, and I dunno. It'll greatly depend on how the first ep goes, and even then.

Fair enough. I do wish them all the best all the same. Maybe eventually they can grow into a really nice studio.
