tbh i dont see why ppl praise horimiya that much, the only reasons i can think of why ppl like it so much is cuz they hook up early (which is not necessarily a good thing) and that it is drama free.

I would say from the top of my mind, love is war, fruits baskets and probably nana. As hm i can say oregairu, your lie in april, dangers in my heart, the romance in yona of the dawn, the fragrant flower blooms with dignity plus there are a lot of series who show romance but wouldnt necessarily be associated as romances like for example i like steins gate sprinkle of romances as well as the monogatari series, as well as kono oto tomare. I consider all of this titles better than horimiya.

If you think horimiya is the best romance, thats fine, everyone has their own opinion, im just a random guy here :)

I don't know but i was seriously looking for this type of comment ....you are DAMN right bro !!
like I personally don't dislike it but I was only hooked up for 1st season and after that it was just messed up and as you mentioned earlier there are seriously better better WAY better series in comparison to horimiya which have heavy romance element and despite the fact that they have other genres too!!

And i am wishing for an animated series of - flowers bloom with dignity !!! (it would be loved by people bruh!!)

I don't think Horimiya would be in a big 3 for romance specifically as much as I like it, and as for my top 3 in no particular order:

- Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru
- Bokuyaba
- Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! / Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia

I didn't expect so many people to have dangers in my heart in their top 3 list considering that it hasn't even been a year since the 1st season, It just goes to show how good of a romance anime it has been

I feel like Nisekoi is pretty under-appreciated mostly because of where they ended the adaptation but it didn’t bother me too much. I just finished the manga recently and read the epilogue chapter that came out a bit later and loved it
