| You did remind me of an extra episode though! I forgot one was included on the Ultimate song release from last month. It has some footage not used in the commercials from Aniplex's channel, like a clip of Sasara Minagi, who I don't recall showing up in any of the other items. I added it to the meta list since giving it its own entry (OVA) would be silly. |

I was gonna go through this myself, but since lanblade started this with his own methodology. So i really have no idea, this looks like a f*cking mess, and the mods are so goddamn useless on MAL. If we had real database mods they'd be able to keep track of episode counts for all currently airing shows. Instead we have to rely on people like @lanblade @hiruzawa @kwanthemaster and others to do their work for them. Don't worry though, they just hired a whole bunch of new mods... all who joined since 2018, and have like 400 completed on their lists. I'm sure they'll do stuff like that LMFAO. OP is updated through April 16th 2020. So theoretically someone can just go to the youtube playlist starting on videos posted AFTER April 16th 2020, then determine which ones are re-used footage, which ones aren't blah blah fucking blah. Also not mad you clearly, but the incompetence of the DB mods on this website. |

| @White_Alice I guess that at some point after the end of this month, this entry will finally stop “airing”, and have a defined number of “episodes”, as well as being available to be set as “completed”. The mobile game’s main JP server is officially shutting down, which means no more new PVs will be coming out. |

I am kinda curious to see how this DB entry will be handled after the game's closure, but ultimately it's just whatever to me tbh. | @Stygian_Prisoner I'll tell you who, it'll probably end up being @Kwanthemaster because he does 80% of the work for this database anyway; since the official database moderators are literally more worthless than sand. Yeah OP (Lanblade) is like the predecessor to Kwan, and unfortunately he's given up on MAL/Anime. So yeah it ends up on regular people like us to sort through this bullshit, but i'm not going to do it. lol. Like i said i'll mark the 158, and then whoever wants to figure out what to do with this entry can. I don't blame you at all, i never played the game, but i love Madoka Magika in general, and i'm also a ridiculous anime completitionist, that has to see eevrything; specifically to franchise's i've begun. I don't mind these PV's even though i never played the game they're short, the music is good, the animation is pretty good, so it's pretty harmless. I'll mark 158 then when MAL (or whoever) figures out which ones is game footage, which one is 6 seconds of reused footage from a commercial than aired in osaka in 2017, etc, then i'll just adjust my count. But especially with the news you gave that the servers are shutting down, they may just scrap the youtube channel, so i might as well at least see these now. Edit: My count is 148, but there's 78 unavailable videos in the playlist, so god only knows. |
