Good animes don't get season 02.
But trash isekai , for example, Evolution Fruit , and such gets s02.

Hypothetically , let's say, Helck got s02. What next ?
i) Promised Neverland, ii) Shield Hero got trash tier adaptation in their s02.

The only anime that had good next-seasons are Re:Zero , but don't forget how long it took to get ReZero s02.

I'm gonna just read the manga from chapter 69.

i full agree the above anime you mentioned area the trash . i agree hulk is good and has a descent and unique story. but if iam being honest it's really stretched out a lot, they dragged the back story so much not only it becomes boring but at some point it was unbearable to continue to watch.

Railgun T was an improvement over Railgun
Ansatsu kyoushitsu season 2 was better than 1
Aquarion Evol was better than the original
Monogatari second season nothing to add alone is worth it
Code Geass season 2 just the end alone
Grisaia no Rakuen was better than kajitsu by a miles

So plenty of good second season if you dig deep enough also anime is a business that cost money so what you want mean nothing if you are not willing to put some money in to support the shows you want a second season.

@Saimatsu_Fan It certainly is now days since it's virtually always just "bland self-insert OP mary sue protagonist gets thrown into generic fantasy game world", but there was definitely a time when isekai was a great genre ala Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, etc.

also of course when people like you do the " old isekai is better!! " they use the exact same 3-5 examples without even any eloberation

This has been such a great series.. I though almost nothing of it going into the first ep and MC character design but wow! I really hope it gets a second season! It would be ridiculous if it doesn't. Especially given a world where we get 2nd seasons so often for mid series.. as well as series like One Piece.

Man OP, no need calling isekai trash, just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's bad.
