Leo focused episode. A bit boring, but it was nice to see Vijay in action at the end. Sucks that the friend he made rejected him tho.
I feel like Tilt should have had more focus in the first season. His plotline may end up rushed.

7:25 Just googled what a bract is, and learned that bracts are leaves around the flower that are sometimes larger and more brightly colored than the actual flower itself. Interesting!

Francois taking pictures of Leo like that was weird, but it turned out pretty wholesome. Hope they make up.
20:15 Чай (chai) is tea in Russian so this sounds like "tea tea" to me lol

Oh god that ending. Leo isn't dead right? Or maybe the effect from the card remained even if the owner was made to disable it. Where even is he btw?
There is a scene after credits.

So Leo is given the whole focus in this episode, he had a sad past, was lonely & wasn't given attention, but he understood that he has trustworthy people who praise him, who rely on him, protect him & care for him. It was a bonding & character development episode for him & also nice to see him get his shine.

Leo is back to his school days in the all-boys Runny College after High Card's suspension, though he's quite the high-profile person on the surface. And the person who apprached him in secret, François is quite the transfer student who wants his attention, holding a film camera and taking pictures of him. even though he hates it.

The truth about Leo, is that he was never cared for by his parents, though having a minor ailment and trying to brave his way through, he's slowly wrapping himself into the bursary student's lifestyle, it all feels like his expectations were never met nor fulfilled and recognized. This is the adverse for François, though they;re in the same skin, repeating their day-to-day activities, with Leo not wanting to worry about his father, who's on the brink of death any time. And that same misexpectation has led him to reject François, though within the school hides a Klondike player targeting his life with his 6 of Diamonds Thirteenth Day power. And just in the nick of time that Vijay saved him, and has always been taking care of him since the days of High Card.

The Klondike Family has some coup d'états of their own...

@Embient considering Vijay's ethnicity, "chai tea" likely refers to Masala chai.

This Leo focused episode was decent but it felt like it dragged a bit. It sucked that he was targeted while at a low point in his life with not knowing the status of his father but luckily Vijay ended up checking up on him in the nick of time.

So this is Leo's Arc? Hope he didn't die in the end?!? And yea, what about his father?
It's sad that it had to end like this with his new friend
But we learn about Leo's past, he didn't have it easy, maybe that explains his behaviour
At least Vijay made a good performance today.
And the end? Why is Tilt talking to the Black Knight? Anyway, last seconds introducing the new episode look interesting-

Leo focused episode! He’s a character I’ve wanted to see fleshed out since the start. A few episodes a go we kinda pieced together that he and his father didn’t exactly see eye to eye, but damn his childhood was bad.

Sucks that things didn’t work out with he and francois, but at least he has Vijay who’s been watching over him for a long time. He came in clutch at the end, saving Leo with the medicine.

That stuff with Tilt and the black knight at the end was interesting.. things starting to heat up

With the great plot, I sometimes forget the "side members" of High Card are great characters themselves. Leo sure has it rough and it was interesting to see how he was wrong about Francois (at least regarding the assasination - everything else seems vague for now), but it was no superstition someone literally made him sick using a card.

But at least he has Vijay, keeping the team together in these hard times. If Theodore refuses to be a parent, Vijay will gladly sub in!

Next week looks like Wendy's episode. I'm looking forward to content for her, since she (herself - not Love-P) hasn't gotten much content recently.

I had suspicions about Francois as he was acting a little to nice to Leo at least from an introverts perspective. It was kinda creepy. Turns out it was the school doctor that was masked as a Klondike player trying to kill Leo with the 6 of Diamonds 13th Day power just by talking to him. Luckily Vijay was there to save the day by rescuing Leo and nursing him back to health. It's too bad that Leo and Francois relationship ended on a misunderstanding.

What a terribly sad episode; we got a different perspective and honestly it was the best episode this season. Poor Francois...and let me just say F*** the Klondikes.

So we got an episode that was focused on Leo which is a nice touch bc I always wanted to know what his past is like and man I just gotta say…his character is tragic he tries to do everything to get good at it so his father can look his way, bro should just stop tryna impress his father and just enjoy his life that he currently has😕

I thought it was Francois who was slowly killing Leo but it was the doctor dude and man that power is so fucked up that shit is like a Jojo ability😭

That Francois was very creepy. The way he approached Leo in a too familiar way, his photos and the way he was just too open gave me a lot of red flags. But just as fast as he came in he left with the suspicious doctor being the real culprit behind his illness, who'd have thought.

In any case, episode by episode I feel like this show is lacking on the animation material. Scenes either feel too static of they leave no impact even in fight. I dunno.

Leo forgot the peeps from Pinochle's Old Maid branch.

Also, don't take pictures of strangers without their permission.
