What are people watching this for?

Wait the show is censored? What does the manga show cocks and vaginas all over the place or something?

There's literally still nipples and titties shown. I like the action and the characters seem relatively interesting. The censoring I've seen definitely exists but it's not like there's literally nothing but censoring

"Touch grass" is a valid rebuttal, because if you'll take a closer look at this series, it actually has something besides mindless ecchi to offer like an actual character dynamic and growth and falling to even notice that, just like hyperfixating on the most shallow aspect of she show would be your fault.
Ecchi scenes are properly separated from actions scenes, so you won't see boobs jiggling for no reason when girl performs an attack. This is actually a good thing, if you realize that one of the main purpose of ecchi fanservice is to distract the audience for flaws and shortcomings, which is why almost every ecchi series is considered trash.

It needs to be understood, that studio had to condone to the given timeslot and age rating, which is we unfortunately don't get to see more of loli or other pettan. Sad, but what you gonna do. I wish it would take Immoral Guild approach, which was IMO Top 3 anime of Fall 2022. Maybe Blu-ray is gonna be more explicit?
I actually really like fanservice, some more than the other (I guess we call it fetishes?). Kyouka's footwork from episode 3 was gorgeous. 🤤
And if you wondering about my attitude from quotes post, it is because OP has even worse and does not deserve any respect.

i mean, your response to him was pretty much attacking EXACTLY what i like to see in anime, my favorite anime all consist of ecchi during fights, so if you remember me from when i became active in 2016, you'd know i was gonna respond with a rant lol

the anime could easily throw boob jiggles in there and there are a few pantyshots during the fights in the manga, but theyre super subtle in the adaptation

and as @HeroineX stated... Slave has NO EXCUSE for its poor performance

it was SUPPOSED TO BE the "ecchi of the season" maybe even of the year, but they held back, which ruined it for so many people and disappointed some of its biggest fans like me

appealing to shounen fans isn't an excuse either considering anime like To Love Ru and Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san also appeal to shounen fans, yet those anime aren't afraid to go all out

i honestly think some directors are just pussying out now since they know how big anime is in the west today

i've been "attacked" more than anyone else here when it comes to my opinions on fanservice/ecchi, if it weren't for that, i never would have gotten to the point where i'd change my to ecchigod lol

You know, now that I educated myself, I see that studio did applied some (seemingly) unnecessary censorship, but honestly, it could have been worse. OP simply went into preemptive attack in this and their previous threads and that's the result.
We still have nippuls and reward scenes are actually top notch. But obviously, it could have been much worse, like those damned light rays, for example. Also, as I pointed out, the lack of ecchi during the fight is not the result of censorship from the anime studio, because that's how it is in the manga as well.
I've also been attacked by rabid tourists, who not only are not the target audience, but also can't understand that "sex sells" and unitonically seem to believe, that people like you don't exist (you should totally check out the thread I've sent you). Ecchi is simply not in the top priority for me, but it would be nice to see some big booba jingling. Good thing Monogatari Series is coming back.

thats the thing though... this anime is KNOWN for its raunchiness, so it doesn't matter if it "could have been worse", the fact is they FUCKED UP, when they gutted the onsen scene AND skipped a whole chapter of BOTH action AND ecchi

the light rays are usually used removed in the BD, so idk why you mentioned those, when were talking about scenes being completely left out

yes, i agree, theres not THAT MUCH ecchi/fanservice, during the fights in the manga, BUT that doesn't mean there couldnt be more ass and titty shots than the anime has given us so far

@EcchiGodMamster with light rays, you never know for sure if the BDs actually will remove those. Just look at Goddess Cafe Terrace, they kept all the annoying steam and light beams even in the BDs.

@EcchiGodMamster oh I see, so you waited for the BDs to watch it. So you see, the TV version for the anime had huge amounts of steam and light beams censorship anytime a naked girl was on the screen. It was very jarring and distracting too. It was especially annoying during the bathhouse scene in ep 11, and I was hoping they would remove those just like they did for Kanojo mo Kanojo (which is also done by the same studio and director). But when the BDs came out a lot of people were angry saying that they didn't change anything and that the steam and light beams were still kept. But now here you are saying that they showed their asses in the BD, so now I'm confused lol.

@EcchiGodMamster so you are saying that the bath scenes only have their tits covered, but their butts are not? That's really all I wanted from the BDs, since I already knew the tits wouldn't get any changes (the TV version had tits and ass both censored with steam and light beams, first was in the bath scene with Ouka in ep 2, and then the bathhouse scene in ep 11). So if what you are saying is true, that makes me wanna check out the BDs again, since I was really upset with the anime for censoring their asses too (and everybody have been saying that they they didn't remove any of the censors in the BD, so I was really disappointed).
