DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- amazon.co.jp/DHL delivered BTOOOM! 10 to me today after a day of weather delay. Came with a couple of nice Himiko postcards, one original and one from the anime. Who would mail them? I am keeping mine! Chapter 54, Conspiracy The game systems are down so no radar or BIMs work. Iida sempai puts safety locks on with his laptop and Ryota and Himiko out wait Oda and Hidemi,who take off. So the expected alliance doesn't happen, not yet anyways. Ryota and Himiko have been sweating in the bushes and Himiko's shirt is completely transparent which is funny. Most BTOOOM chapters are easy reading but this one is full of revelations from Iida sempai, who Ryota met chapters ago though Himiko is surprised that they know each other. Iida explains the game, the net snuff streams, the nominate who you want snuffed out stuff, etc. We know most of it but they did not. The plan to destroy the system is presented. He says they have to wait. Ryota pleads with him to help them now, says he can't wait but Iida leaves, pointing his gun saying not to follow him. Iida returns to where the other Tyrranos folks are fixing things and they reboot the systems and the radars all ping. Oda notices that it isn't just fixed, the range is much improved. The more chips you have, the better the range. Strong players are even stronger. Ryota is disappointed but Iida and the team's chopper takes off without them. Not an action chapter but lots to read. | phulley, is it in Japanese or in English? Oh, nvm, Btooom! was licensed so it's probably in English. As far as I know, Amazon.com only have up to Vol 3. So I guess we have to order it from Japan then. |

So I guess we have to order it from Japan then. It just came out in Japanese. I buy the Japanese books from Amazon.co.jp and read them in Japanese so I get them fast. The English version is licensed now but will probably come out in a few months I hope for you guys. |

| Had to re-read that explanation a couple times to grasp it fully. Talk about a huge load to carry. I'm surprised that Himiko wasn't completely hysterical. |

| The point of this game had been spooken and we know it. Iida give Sakamoto another chance to survive. Well a faith that Sakamoto have is really hard now. He need to find a bug so the game can be discontinued. This game is remind me about Death Race movie. |
| "You're just the same" UMM HARDLY these fucking guys have been starving and fighting for their lives for the past 5 days, and now this one privileged asshole tells Ryouta he's just like the people at the company?? Which is exploating and endangering people after creating an actual death game for their own profit??? What the actual fuck, how about you do something Iida? Other than coming to the island just to tell Sakamoto what HE needs to do, when he still has to continue his fight for survival, gosh. I did like Ryouta's first reaction to his proposal, it indeed is fucking crazy. |
