Do we take it as a "at the end everything become better"? Or something else? What exactly did they wish for us to watch and understand? What was the conspiracy after all? Was it all just their delusions? A way to run away from reality- to not take responsibility?

I still don't fully understand the point of this anime.

What did you find in this anime? I would like you all to state that.

My take was that the series overall was about the vunerability of those existing on the sidelines of society and the alianation that comes from not fitting to the general narratives people may use to describe their lives and deviating from chrononormativity. More generally the anime but especially the novel focused a lot on how people use narrative hermaneutics to rationalize their lives etc., which could be seen in all of the main cast. The ending was a bit abrupt but I personally liked how the ”happy ending” was still quite realistic instead of a complete fairy tale ending. It showed how when given no chance for escape or escapism, people will do what they need to do to survive even if the means to do so previously seemed impossibe and death seemed like a better alternative.

(Also sorry for my English.)

Well, given that I gave it a 9/10 I may have something to say. It all depends on if you relate to it or not, have you found yourself in the same position as any of the characters or not. The conspiracy is just an exaggerated metaphor for not wanting to admit that you are partly responsible for your life becoming the way it is (supposing you are in the same position as the characters), in the end it was not Misaki who saved Satou, but pure desperation. Just like in the ending scene ¡¡SPOILERS MAYBE!! when Satou says that in the end none of their problems were solved. Any moment they can go back to saying "I'm worthless" or "I can't do it" and that's the beauty of the Anime and the purpose of it. It's just to show you that in the end we all deal with the same problems, and they're never really fully resolved, life just is like that, full of ups and downs. And if you're thinking "well DUH Sherlock" you'll be surprised at the amount of people who don't realise that simple fact.
But wtf do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I thought the meaning was:
"U can be a neet until you're starving, then you learn to work"

personally when I watch psychological anime I don't really think of the "end" as a true end as everyone can interpret it their own fitting way, what's more important is the story and how you can relate to it, how it can move you, remind of the past, help you out of your current situation,...
See the struggles of the anime, see how very valid those are in the real world and that this truly isn't just a piece of fiction but real problems in the society, the end is just s little part of it and u can interpret it the way you like it most. there's no right or wrong

I think it's about the struggles people have with mental illness and living everyday life. How tough it is to balance it all. How sometimes it takes major events to come to terms with what's going on in your life, and what you need to do with it. And for people who are in these kinds of situations, it's not about following some grandiose dream the way it's sold to us. it's about taking small steps to get yourself integrated and on your feet, and accept help in a healthy way.

maybe this is just my take after living through many years of delusion, getting caught up in stupid schemes, substance abuse, PTSD and suicidality. It took me some similar events to realize the ways I was living and that I was the only person who could do something about it. and I didn't have to just rocket into success. i just had to take small steps, the way MC was at the end of the series.

Showed us how a person can be isolated by depression for more than 20 episodes, just to finally show him starve if he doesn’t work and so he does.

To me the point of this anime was “hey do you have depression?, don’t go look for help or rely on others, it doesn’t matter, be an adult and work or you’re done”.

No wonder why this anime keeps going down on ratings, Im glad it does, terribly overrated for just a +20 ep treatment.

dude the mc basically went through the 5 stages of grief throughout the show. The whole conspiracy part is the first stage: denial. Because he thinks that it's not his fault that he became a NEET, it's society that made him a NEET.

I’ve experienced things similar to the MC, for that reason, I really like how this anime shows us the confusion, pain, and struggles he had to go through.
The goal of the story, in my opinion, was to show how fucked the life of a life hikikomori is.

The point is the way out of being a hikikomori is going hungry and being forced to get a job.

the point is to become a neet and a cute, borderline suicidal girl will come rescue you. also yamazaki will be there. If you need a job I can introduce you to mouse road. There really doesn't have to be a point exactly, that's the point of art is introspection. it's just a person's story that you know now. I bet you dont regret watching it. I just rewatched this show a few months back. yamazaki is a really good character, one of my favorites.

Everyone talks about the fantasy of Misaki being there to 'save' Satou, but Yamazaki being there to help him with the erotic game development is another fantasy as well. Also the reappearance of Hitomi and the MLM girl isn't realistic either. NEETs just fall off the face of the earth as thought they don't exist. It's like Satou's disturbed mind has conjured up Misaki and the other people from his past in his final, delusional, starved state. In the end, Satou commits suicide and the rest of it is just purgatory.

I just finished it and I think the NHK and the "conspiracy" referring to real life, or rather, socially acceptable life. The matrix? Idk hownto explain it. Its like, all the "normal people" who get up go to work, come home, rinse and repeat, are apart of the conspiracy. Or at least they seem to be. Truth is we all have problems and formmany, being a meet isn't an option.. As our main character eventually comes to terms with by the end of the anime. Actually all the characters kind of "grow up" by the end of this. They all join the conspiracy!
