| This anime is exactly what I wanted it to be, and it came at the right timing too. Is there anything original or surprising here? Probably not, it is full of tropes many are tired of seeing, it already is a harem full of girls madly in the heat for the MC, which is a badass Marytsu walking on that edge lord TIGHT ROPE. EXACTLY, what I wanted to watch, this was all BUT boring to watch, recently I got to see https://myanimelist.net/anime/50184/Seiken_Gakuin_no_Makentsukai, and Spirits Chronicles is all I wanted that to be, but failed to do so. The harem for this is quite a bit already, and some girls are introduced, that will enter it later on too, from what I have looked into the LN, to me this harem is very promising and varied, some of them being reincarnated from modern earth adds some flavor to it. My favorite girls are Celia (knew she had it in her from the 1st episode), Alicia, and that blue-haired maid, the others have potential too, having seen where the LN goes, I'm getting into the LN soon, make for a good chance of pace with what I have been reading. I don't consider Latifa for the harem btw, but she is great as imouto, and also has a very charming design, love her bangs tons, and her dresses remind me of Touhou stuff. I'm fine with this cliffhanger ending, and I m also aware they switched parts of volume 5 with almost the whole of volume 4, no problem for me, I will read the LN from the start. Was saving this series for a proper time and just when I was in the mood for it, sweet. Also, I LOVE the ED song, I will have to download the OST eventually for that. Kinda reminds me of Asterisk War, as in I understand how perfectly average it is, but I'm totally in sync with it and just had a blast with it. | @Marinate1016 There are 24 volumes out, which is tons compared to most series, and that is a plus for encouragement in starting, because I do doubt that I will be able to read everything without doing major breaks, but I will always know there is more there from when I m getting a feel for it, versus grabbing something that has few volumes and when you start to enjoy it, ends and completely kills the flow. Never gone back to Highschool DxD after I caught with the translation back in the day, despite knowing will be back one day. Just doesnt work well for me when I m in the mood for more got to wait years for a decent chunk more. |

| @Playcool Woohoo Asterisk War! Honestly IMO that show only started out a bit awkward but gradually grew into its own. Things played out nicely across the two seasons it had. Anyway, as for this series, I was totally convinced that Aishia = Haruto's childhood friend, and had presumably been isekai'd earlier, but then...what even is this ending cliffhanger? Apparently Haruto's childhood friend is different? And I thought there were only 6 people isekai'd to this world, as hinted in the OP animation -- Rio (Haruto), Latifa, Liselotte, Aishia, and the two others shown in the ending here. Yet, we're shown well more than just two new "isekai-ing"-s (assuming those columns of light are such), and then it's present-time Rio (with all his skills and such) saving three of them, those being those "two others" plus his childhood friend who somehow isn't the same as Aishia now??????? |

| @GlennMagusHarvey You have people died on Earth and upon that were reincarnated in this world, and others like the heroes and those you mentioned were just suddenly transported, summoned to this world. As for the first question, no, they are different people, if you want spoilers go check the wikia for Spirit Chronicles. |
