I mean a lot of people are able to separate the art from the artist, and this adaptation is actually really good so far, so I'm just glad that it's getting a dub. Sure, the author is a criminal whose punishment was unfairly light, but that doesn't mean what he made isn't good

I hope the Live Action movie's dub cast is used. They were all really good. But that was Funimation.

I'm pretty shocked about this. Considering how VIZ won't reprint the manga in English, I imagined the chances of any dubbing company touching this was very slim. As someone who wasn't aware of the controversy when I started this season, I've been really enjoying it.

They're definitely not using the old cast. I think Lex Lang (OG voice of Sanosuke) confirmed that.

And yet, even though they have the balls to dub it, they apparently don't have enough of those balls to announce who the new cast even is. Maybe some VAs will be confirmed soon, but not announcing who the VAs are purely because of the author makes this dub entirely pointless.

I'm a little surprised. I thought they wouldn't bother dubbing it given the controversy, but now I'm curious as to who they're gonna cast. I didn't really mind the original dub, but at the same time there was definitely room for improvement.

Watched the first episode of the English dub and I'm digging it so far. Definitely worth watching the remake all over again.

Kenshin actor is okay, he’s not bad but just not as good as the original. but, Who plays karou? She is awful for this role. She isn’t terrible but she sounds like a child.

I couldn’t find anything about what their previous roles were. I assume they are newer actors.

I get why they haven't revealed the voice actors, and it's a shame. They shouldn't have to worry about being harassed by insane people online, but that's the way the world seems to be now.

Watched the first 2 episodes in English Dub and I can say it is actually really good. The cast and crew did a great job. The only problem is the pronounciation of certain words like "rurouni" and "battosai", other that that the voices pretty much fit the characters. Nice, looking forward to other episodes especially how sanosuke and other characters sound like Jine.

Well this dub announcement, this should lead to a blu-ray release. The DVDs for the ‘96 run were a bit rough to say the least. Still going to continue watching it subbed of course, but it’s good news for those who like to watch dubbed.
