EDIT: Looks like everyone is pretty much no brains in NOT reading my previous posting that new episodes are only released on ABEMA Premium paywall subscription (check the main page background section). Really going to have to highlight this every new episode from now on.
Even as Riselia tries as much to train her Holy Sword power, it's clear that she eventually will soon collapse due to her unusual powers as a vampire queen. The same way that Leo had tried to resuscitate her with an undead spirit, though Riselia is still getting used to the new life. Riselia's friend of Sakuya Sieglinde, she's capable of the sword, but like Riselia, has her childhood days thwarted by Voids. Of course, all the old Demon Lord techniques when applied, overwhelms the machines.
The bastard brat of Musel Rhodes facing Leo and Riselia (who has yet to develop her Holy Sword), she places trust in Leo that they'll prevail. And with the battle, gives Leo's insight of how an undead spirit works in real time. And despite being beatdown by Musel, Riselia manages to awaken her Holy Sword, and both her and Leo are rewarded with the welcome party into the platoon. Back to business, and Leo has gotten more information on the human world at large, including the war from 1000 years before that somehow was forgotten and Leo himself.
Within deep waters just outside of the 7th Assault Garden...lays a Void? A fearsome one at that...
I have a dude: my teory that after returning to Riselia she spoke life as one of the most powerful undead, a progenitor type vampire and having healed her wound after returning her blood to her body, she also healed and regenerated her uterus, right?

Why would she need to heal her uterus? Tf
@har8273 Since the void made a large, very deep and fatal wound to Riselia, opening her waist, which I suppose also cut her uterus and if she ever wants to have children, she wouldn't be able to because her uterus is destroyed. And with what Leonis did, I suppose he restored it as well as his wound in the abdomen.
I really like the little details on this anime, for example Musel is giving a reaction when Riselia broke his force after gaining a holy sword (usually they will not react about that small detail after some major occurrence), and the disappearing foods that Shary brought to Magnus is a nice little detail for me.
Okay who's the mc here? Is it the vamp chick? Or Leo? Asking for a friend, because why did Leo take part in the fight? He didn't do anything. So much so for being all powerful and what not.
Selia was pretty calm about knowing she died and revived as a vampire, and even finding out Leo is a reincarnation (Though he left out the Demon Lord part). It was cool seeing her holy sword finally awakening when she kept saying she'll protect Leo, maybe it's because she showed some really strong determination!
Three very good episodes! The story is developing, Leonis is the interesting antagonist turned protagonist and Shary and Riselia, his capable cutie partners. The only thing the series is lacking is uncensored ecchi, something it is possible it will come with the BD/DVD releases.
I like how 13 year old and 15 year old Riselia looks completely identical.
As pretty much everyone else on that flashback...
This episode continues adapting volume 1 from where the last episode left off, pretty much no skipped content, so they aren't rushing this adaptation which is good.

@leonardobarba writing and story wise it's obvious it's not gonna be anything special. Most people are only here for a dumb ecchi harem anime especially after seeing Passione's name. It at least had the potential to be a nice guilty pleasure of the season, so the fact they are even shying away from the ecchi makes me question if they even know their target audience.
I'm kind of disappointed how the awakening scene was just average (for me), there's not much emphasis given in the animation... unfortunately.
Even so, they're keeping up the good quality of making the characters still look pretty in terms of animation and sounds.
I really dislike that guy who always entered with his 4 enslaved girls but his cockiness went under or lower than the last time... huh.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

@Nucleus69 The ecchi is there but censored. Passione uses to air one or other episode of the series with uncensored ecchi and save most of the high quality ecchi the studio is known for for the BD/DVD releases.

@leonardobarba considering the recent trend we have had with BD releases I'm not gonna expect anything from this either. I doubt the BDs will change anything at all. That random plant from the bath scene in ep 2 is definitely going to stay. Passione cannot be trusted anymore, they have gone downhill. Even the one second shower scene this episode had was tame and lackluster as hell. It's clear they are shying away from fanservice.
It says something when i havent even watched ep 3 yet and im already like "where is ep 4"
Strange isnt it
oook so last ep we had a cliffhanger, but so far all three eps have started with a flashback scene. well ep 1 you could argue its not a flashback but still
also riselia and regina are like, 15? i think? so 2 years ago they would be 13? they look huge/the same, but maybe the artists were uh
so this guy has been chasing riselia for 2 years? shrug
ok so. this is weird. did they just cut scene, or is it implied that riselia just collapsed immediately after the end of ep 2
ok so leo is just blabbing all his sekrets to riselia. curious
while its not an isekai, its rather uncommon for the mc to actually tell someone that they are reincarnated. sort of
it wasnt completely clear but apparently riselia's entire family died in that attack. tragic
i wonder if there's any tangible reason for riselia not having her seiken yet
also is leo/riselia going to just blab to everyone now? hmm
also now leo has shown his "srs" side hmm.
leo finally gets his clothes, although its kinda jarring, going to take awhile to get used to.
it seems overly elaborate, especially considering he looks like a 10 year old boy
yeah, not sure if they'll go into details but how is leo going to uhm, amass funds. hmmm. he would either need to redo alchemy, or otherwise have some kind of uhm, equivalent
its funny how the society has pretty much left gold behind. depending on the equivalent value.
not sure about historical. but right now a kilogram of gold is actually still a decent amount
hmm, whats this?
also i thought minors aren't allowed to gamble at casinos, this is definitely kinda uh, like what?
so we have a minor losing all her moneh AND being in debt from gambling, thats uh
so yeah as usual leo loses control of his power and stomps the test immediately.
curious as to just how much variety he has, assuming he has like, he's basically the really super op mage who can do anything?
regina's appears to just be a gun type, sakuya is clearing a sword, while riselia im not sure but im assuming she'll have some interesting things to go with her sword(?) when she manifests it. fine, no idea, but she looks like a supporter for now
i think it was hinted, but a few people also kinda spoiled it in the comments last ep, the dude doesnt actually fight by himself but his seiken buffs his allies
a foldable sword eh? thats uhh, science (fiction) for you, sword experts would have a headache i guess
also with so many bystanders around and such a small area it looks awfully risky
but im assuming leo is just going to roflstomp them
i wonder if leo's staff is still the same size as previously, because now that he's in his 10 year old human form the staff is bigger than him
i dont think we had any fighting last ep, so like leo said, the transformation also gives riselia some additional power now
though im pretty sure she was using a gun in ep 1? uhh
funny thing is that leo only knocked out one person, it was riselia that knocked out the other 3
but then the turn tables oops
oh that was quick, she's getting her seiken now. guess we wont have to wait
well that was convenient, leo barely had to do anything
i mean its also kinda convenient that you know, she accepted the whole thing so easily, but i guess its better than making a huge fuss out of it
their dorm seems to have quite a number of empty chairs, four? shrug.
and they somehow have no extra room ook
fine is voiced by igarashi hiromi, but i swear she reminds me a lot of someone but i cant quite remember who
the girls seem quite nice already. that said
the whole point seems to be that the seiken arent ordinary weapons, they can gain (or lose) their abilities
well leo finally gets a map. it seems, that at the very least he recognizes the geography, so while he was sealed away he was not displaced in space.
also if shary and blackus can just phase in and out, does leo have similar magic? or telepathy for that matter. hmm
i was kinda worried they wouldnt show up but who knows
also if they dont have moneh how dahell did shary get so much food? did she just take them?
also im pretty sure leo needed to use a translation spell in ep 1, or did they just convenience it over?
these telepathy scenes are kinda funny. because its by telepathy shary cant mumble under her breath so leo hears everything
and its quite clear that shary is quite interested in leo too, but uhhhh who knows
we get to see a little bit more of the city, but otherwise
we get yet another cliffhanger. seems like someone still remembers.
so next ep looks like we'll probably be jumping straight into some action...maybe.
So a bit of a slow pacing, everyone is introduced now and we a cliffhanger for next ep. Not much actually happened so far, but there's still plenty of eps to go.
In the ed we see shary with the other girls, I do wonder how on earth leo is going to explain this.
Riselia has had most of the screentime so far at the expense of everyone else, sakuya is a bit of an oddball but regina and fine and shary both look very interesting. Even riselia herself seems like a good girl, though a bit of plot convenience aside. She also has her seiken now.
I do wonder if the whole anime is going to feel like this or we're actually going to get some different
Ok the actual preview seems to imply that. We see blackus, and uh. From the ed and the preview I'm assuming leo will find some way to introduce shary (and blackus), its kind of funny but eh.
Though from the looks of things it seems the action either is not shown, or it wont be starting immediately, either partway into the ep or only into ep 5.
I mean we kinda knew it was going to happen with the past few eps already, but hopefully the screentime gets more evenly distributed. It should be anyway.
A pretty quiet start, other people definitely seem to be kinda upset, but what do I know.
Also sakuya is voiced by uhm..someone I dont recognize so there's that.
Are we actually going to see the girls in casual attire?
Shary is not wearing the uniform in the image, I was wondering if she would actually be joining the academy too, though uh. I only just noticed, presumably they're quite strong in combat if needed
EDIT: Ok, I COMPLETELY forgor, igarashi hiromi was in haifuri. Though fine sounds a lot different, they still sound similar enough.
EDIT: We didnt really see much of it, but. Since riselia is a "vampire" now I wonder if this means we'll have more food and/or uh vampire scenes. Like surely thats the entire point? Shrug. Cant believe that I'm actually saying that we dont have enough fanservice
EDIT: So two things. Riselia's sword is actually red. (Also you can see that in the image)
The thing I was thinking of is, she only awakened her seiken after she turned into a vampire, so I wonder if thats actually connected or just a coincidence.
The name of the anime is also (maken)tsukai, while aside from it being super similar to blade dance, I do wonder, obviously its talking about leo, but im just speculating if it could (also) be talking about riselia.
Wait so this academy just lets some hypnotist sexually assault multiple other students without any sort of prosecution? This show seems to be going down the "op protagonist magic high school harem" route, despite it's slightly interesting start, which is kind of disappointing.
Yeah Riselia took finding out that she's now a vampire and that the boy is reincarnated pretty well, in fact I don't think she even batted an eye. I thought she would not have been able to to manifest her holy weapon since she is now a vampire and instead would get something different (but still powerful) but instead she actually got one, nice.
As others have said Leo now has his own harem and that assistant that brought the doughnuts is pretty brazen calling him dumb but I think she's more jealous of Riselia now being his "right hand man" lol.
Riselia got her holy weapon at a good time when it has no cruciality to appear otherwise that would have been kind of overly convenient if she was really needed.
Thread cleaned, please refrain from asking where the episode can be watched/downloaded as well as starting off-topic discussions that have nothing to do with the episode.
Kind of anticlimactic that she awakened her holy sword in a piss-easy fight such as that, but I suppose it's better than having no progress at all.
So far everyone loves the MC except for that generic douchbag who's probably out of commission after this episode. Maybe there will be some more conflict between him and other academy members when they start to figure out he's a magician/ancient undead.
Overall, entertaining episode, I'll be back again next week
Surprise gold lost value, what happened to inflation?
Roommates variety has good potential, nihon gambler, vamp, mao, patissier & IT support.
Shary so funny & jealous.

Strange some viewers are complaining of a genre that doesn't exist on both the anime & LN pages, doesn't exist in the show. In mal you can search by genre what you want to watch.
So a sparring episode. That's about as generic a plot for an episode as it gets.
Leonis demo's his staff for some reason in some absurd formality at this school so the rest of the plot can happen, and noble dude or whatever picks a fight with him and Risellia. It looks like they're setting this up as a harem, but someone tell me what it is with grown women hitting on boys? I've seen that trope in too many anime and it's weird.
So of course the noble dude loses the fight when Risellia's hidden power comes to light, no surprises there- but of course this won't be the end of him. He'll be back.
Meanwhile Leonis' minion maid chick brings him donuts- that was the only part that got a chuckle out of me. I'm more interested in what's happening below the floating city with that monster thing under there- that was the coolest part and it was at the very end
