S1 is the main story. S2 is parts s1 excluded but it honestly does feel like a filler. Not that it isn’t good. It’s a good watch if you wanna see more comedy oriented things and just slice of life stuff

Waste of time, it’s like a side story. Bunch like of flash backs and scenes that never got added, couldn’t consider this a season 2 at all.

Well, it should be considered a season 2 because those memories are like flashbacks, not a compilation, like if Hori was thinking about moments from the past. It's not a side story since those flashbacks are what Hori remembers (of the time she was in the third year of high school) right after her graduation ceremony.

S1 was the Main Story and this season covers the remaining manga portion which was skipped in season 1. But it was a good one, It was funny and wholesome and you will enjoy watching it if you loved the 1st part.

The show is slice of life to begin with so idk why you’d be complaining about filler

It really comes down to how much you enjoyed Season 1. If you loved the characters and want to see more of them, watch Season 2. If you don't mind not seeing more of them, then don't watch Season 2.

Simple as that.

As a hardcore fan, I felt the manga had too much filler in between the main story. However, they fixed that problem in the anime with S1.

S2 adds in the really good comedic stories that they had to skip. It's not a s2 because the story doesn't continue, but you will enjoy it if you just want more of the same vibes as s1.

fpr me its a 10/10 just like the first season
while it doesnt feel like a s2 (except last episode "graduation") its still super enjoyable.
like the title says, missing pieces, its episodes unrelated one to another that simply complete the main story. you get an episode focusing on sengoku, on iura, sleepover episode, eposode about hori's parents in the past.
while yes it does feel like an ova, i would say its as important and as well made as a s2
