@jesujej lmao right!?. I've read the manga, and the Light novel. The anime is better than the actual source material. And I don't say that lightly. I usually hate when anime change things, because they usually end up skipping important things, or leaving things out, but thin this case it's the opposite. They actually added things, and all of it improved the story. The entire first episode, right up until he meets the goddess, is anime original. Same with all of his training with his dad, most of the cooking stuff, and Maho's entire introduction episode which is originally just referenced as something that happened in the past, in the manga and light novel. The anime is honestly the best version of this story. I decided to read it after rewatching the first season, because I enjoyed it quite a bit, and I was so disappointed. I'm glad it's getting a second season, I just hope it's the same team working on it, because the whole story needs work, and it will be really disappointing if they don't give it the same treatment they gave the first season, and add to it. |
