| Well, this mission is at its climax and honestly, the truth has to come out now. We got an interesting episode in terms of the spy elements and drama at a bar....kinda strange location for such an episode. But then again, spies are capable of just about anything so they had to deal with what they work with. Definitely seems like it's also building into the finale here with all the truth being spilled. |

| You know, he may only be psychotic, murderous, psychopath, but above all else he was also a feet lover, so the world is better without him. And yeah ... that purple ant guy spy thought he's all smart and shit, till he fought our Klaus-chad-kun in this weeks episode and got his ticket punched because Klaus had it all planned from the moment big bang happened. Hey and Thea helped too. I really, actually am curious what the finale next week will be. This anime truly was a venture of its own. |

| Damn man seeing Hearth suffer and die in anime form is rough. Hated reading thru that in the book. I remember holding out hope that someone really would come and save her. Sadly it never happened. The faith she had in Thea after only being around her for a little bit of time was really awesome. All these years later Thea fulfilled her prophecy and became a hero. She just needed to believe in herself and have a support system like lamplight. Seeing Purple ant get beat at his own game is great. Doesn’t matter how many worker ants you’ve got, you’ll need an entire country to take down Klaus lol. Basing your strategy on outdated info wasn’t a good idea. God I wish that was me RIP Roland. Wanted more mommy dommy Thea scenes with him π’ Lilian devil π Overall they did a really good job with this arc. I think it’s the best arc so far in the novels. Total 180 from season 1. Looking forward to the finale next week |

| Two spies at a bar huh. A sad way for such a veteran spy to end with though. Still planting the embers of hope was a great last move. RIP Hearth. The words of support from the rest of the team really was heartwarming. The duet between Thea and Hearth's VA's as they began their counterattack was just beautiful. The scariest thing about the ants is that they can literally be anyone. Klaus really showed his true skill as he faced down ant master. In a way every ambush and plan the girls tried all served to make him even stronger. Still Lily ended up becoming quite the scapegoat in order to hide the truth of the purple ants. An excellent end to this arc i think. While Thea would grow from this so would all the girls as well. |

| Hearth's death was rough. Yes, Thea getting captured was a part of the plan! 20:41 Title drop! This was a nice arc. Did Thea go all the way with Corpse tho? This totally felt like a final episode. Next week is the last episode, another side story or smth? |

| RIP Kouro… This episode is literally a strike back episode for Thea. In the end, without Worker Ants, Murasakiari is just a weak guy. |

| Thea being kidnapped to meet Purple Ant, and the expose that he got, he's cunning, though the strong spy that he is. The Din Republic's Inferno spy team's Hearth being killed by him, she may have the "Bonfire" Klaus as backup, but she has another ace up her sleeve: spreading white lies to the Worker Ants about a hero who would act as their saviour, and this hero who is essentially her "adopted" child, the Dreamspeaker Thea would be the one to continue Hearth's legacy and continue the fight that she left before her death. And Thea succeeded in her mission, in her place of Klaus who failed to show up for Hearth, now shows up for her. It's time to end Purple Ant's farce, even as his Worker Ants stop them both in their tracks, plus the General Ants who are the cream of the crop. The agreement of Thea and Corpse, and her Dreamspeaker ability and sexual charm allows her to get a control of the latter, joining their side. Together with the Lamplight girls all converging together to the final showdown, though Corpse would sacrifice his life, and Kalus, for better or for worse, Purple Ant read him like a book, but even that information was outdated, and the World's Greatest Spy, aided by the teachings of the Lamplight girls at Heat Haze Palace, has grown stronger than ever to defeat Mitario's king, signaliing the end of the mission, which was a resounding success. Hah, Lily may be brandished as the devilish evil, but more than most, this is Thea's comeback arc as Hearth's successor, the black-haired hero. No doubt that this was the best arc so far from the anime adaptation thus far. |

| Thea had her moment here and she did what she did in the last episode on purpose as I suspected. I like how this anime has focused on specific girls and has showcased their weaknesses and strengths. While not every girl has gotten the same amount of attention I understand that there many more volumes that can be adapted which hopefully will be at some point and I''m thinking those may focus on the other girls such as Sybilla. This was a great finish to this arc and would have made a satisfactory finale to the season but I believe there's one more episode left so I'm curious to see what is adopted. |

| @MadanielFL Lily SS story from SS vol 2. I bet. As I kept saying on these threads, the plan was know from day 1 when they announced the 4 CDs character songs, each CD with 2 different girls, Lily will be paired with Annett. They couldn't have made it more official than that, quite open about it being 4 eps per main volumes + 1 SS adaptation for each girl. |

| So Klaus' special ability is actually mimikry. Makes sense why he's so strong if he can just look at anyone and go "Hey, I bet I can do that aswell!". Anyway, I really liked this volume finale. No explaining afterwards this time, everything evolved right as I saw it! If anything, they could've drawn out the final battle a bit more. I guess this also puts the end to the first "saga", with the previous Tomoshibi team being successfully avenged. I wonder what's next in the main story. And I hope it will be animated at some point! Next week will probably be another filler. I hope it can finish up the season as great as it's been so far! |

| Takehito Koyasu is just so good at playing antagonist. What an incredible climax episode!! Season 2 is just keep getting better and better. I'm so glad i didn't drop this series way back on season 1 when everyone is complaining about it. Thea foot anyone? |

@GensoTV iirc in the LN they didn't mention the name of the disease, but it was an actual disease. The context was that the disease decreased her skill level as a spy (compared to her in her heyday) - which is why they were able to overpower her easily

Anime logic at its best:) Anyways like usual, mister invincible came and folded the bunch in a snap of fingers. We're too used at this point, aren't we? | Purple Ant got beat on both the psychological front by Thea and physically by Klaus, a beautiful ending to Hearth's legacy and seeds planted 6 months prior RIP Roland@Corpse, at least he went out honorably and against his blackmailer |

| Huh, guess Inferno's downfall wasn't just from internal strife, but there were other factors. . Also... Thea... Feet... SAVE ME TOO WITH THAT PLZ. . ROFL @ Lily. Yup, she's comey relief. (But I guess Thea did get some sort of "closure" with her past) (also, they never mentioned if all the "ants" was told they were "saved"... are they still working as assassins during nights like they were originally ordered, cause from how it looked during all the flashback and talks, the "ants" will continue what they were told regardless if they were given any other new current orders) (in fact, I think Hearth was captured cause even tho she gave the "ants" the idea of "hero", they still act upon the order to capture her, which makes the current "saving" all the more weird how the "ants" stops attacking when they heard Hearth's "voice" from Thea... meaning if they stopped with Thea mimicing Hearth's voice, then that means past Hearth shouldn't have been captured at all since she was captured by the "ants" that would have also "stopped") (and Hearth isn't captured by the "generals" since Thea mentioned she never met them to give them the idea of "Hero") |

| Thea, who exploited Corpse's fetish, has to be the counter to Purple Ant's and his control over people. If the hero is a legend amongst the ants, she made it reality. Damn π, poor Lily, can she visit the US of Mouzaia ever again if people are going to notice she looks exactly like the hamburger waitress serial killer? |
