| Redheads are so charming, and Vermilio doesn't disappoint one bit in that regard. She's fiery and got that look when she's serious! Not to mention, the handshake made me think Vermilio's hand is a hand I'd love to hold myself... haha Anyway, Helck bringing the laughs and good vibes with that race. Great motivator and he really carried the freight to victory there! Plus his competitors are quite respectable and likable as well. |
| I think this is probably my current favorite of new series to air. It gets points for not being an Isekai and having an interesting twist to a fantasy story. Genuinely curious to see how the next episode goes. Looks like things might start getting a little more serious. The tone hasn't been too terrible so far we'll see how the balance of comedy and seriousness continues as things pick up. |

| No matter what challenges they throw at Helck, he remains unfazed. Those cartoonish traps have no effect on him. He effortlessly breezes through each one, sporting a big grin all the while. People admire him for this, and it's easy to see why the crowd loves him. Azudra tries to act tough, but Helck is much stronger than he appears. The plan to make confronting the winged knights part of the test is clever, and we'll see how Helck and the others fare with "Anne" by their side. Those winged knights seem like formidable opponents. |

| Been really enjoying this and laughing a good bit through the first two episodes. A real good fun watch so far and curious to see how the next episode goes, I can't wait! |

| Ngl I was expecting that dog to evolve or something but was so sure Helck was just gonna run himself carrying it lol. The comedy is unexpectedly actually funny. Not everything but a good portion of it. Vamirio's reactions are the best. |

| Vermilio sticks her recourse to send Helck packing ASAP, and Hon's racing match with Helck on the cat "horse", it feels like a joke in comparison. As expected, the racing match goes with the other competitors getting their usual steeds and Helck getting screwed by Management, the cat "horse" is just scared of the sound from the cannonball. As expected, Helck tries to eject the race from running with his cat horse and destroying the obstacles in his way, and if Management doesn't do anything about it, the Demon Lord position will soon fall to his hands...which is no trouble for him. Helck running towards Kenros and Hyura, and it becomes a running race between the former and Kenros, which Helck easily wins by a hair, increasing his popularity even more. With enemy forces in the Urum Castle which they're monitoring stringently, the human realm's winged knights are creating a problem for them, which is where the other Heavenly Lord of Azudra the Blue steps in. The issue is taking out the winged knights, retaking Castle Urum and claiming the Demon Lord position at the same time, Azudra's got a plan to ensure that they receive minimum damage from this to prove that Helck will be either friend or foe. Azudra sure likes to call Vermilio with a "-chan" at the end for comedy effect, though the final fight with the trio and Dorshe will prove they have what it takes, with Vermilio acting as Anne from the management to see them through. Helck, of course doesn't waver, and gives his welcome. That feeling alone, will cause a big rift... |

It would've been too predictable if it went the other route. |

Like the one in your picture! looking back, the comedy in the first two eps at least fit the mood. but at the same time, it made the show come off as a gag series when that's actually not the case. anime should segregate comedy moments away from serious dark parts of the story. Well, I did pick up this anime because it gave me the whole Mashle-feel of a big guy very satisfyingly beating up bad guys, to comedic effect, so the first 2 episodes kind of scratched that itch admirably. |

You know, now that you mention it, he does look like both Hercules AND He-Man. Huh. I mean I have seen both of those when I was younger, the Hercules was the live action one as the cartoon version has different hair but Helck does look a lot like he could be He Man's brother. I'm with you on the comedy, I think comedy is needed to make shows more entertaining. |

| The candidates are very weak, but it's kind of expected seeing how the crowd is fine with cheering for a human hero and the demon empire as a whole seems to be a peaceful nation despite the horrible conditions they live in. What worries me the most tho is the level of animation in this show. It's very underwhelming. |

| This show seems like the perfect mix of comedy and plot. Silly and a good time, but also world building to keep you locked in and curious about what’s going on in the world. |

| I had a good laugh this episode nevertheless. From Helck bending the rules and taking his ‘horse’ across the finish line under his arms to insisting to shake Vermilio’s hand. Vermilio herself was also a treat to watch. They really nailed those angry outbursts of hers. I can see why people would like her a lot. |
