| harsh critique for sarasa in the end, imo the play was pretty good. anyway, a pretty fun episode. Dio gifting Sarasa 16 flowers for her birthday was just funny as hell. And seems like she has a boyfriend. Pretty weird for a shoujo anime. Ai's medium hair is fucking adorable |

| That professor is so over dramatic, I could slap him. Everything was great about this episode, except for the comment the professor made on Sarasa's acting. It was definitely over-exaggerated. |

| Props to Andou-sensei for noticing Sarasa can only mimic the acting from other performers and that she needs to come up with her own technique. Hopefully Sarasa'll realise what he means though with her not being able to become a top performer as the message is a bit vague |

| Impressive episode. I like Hoshino but i'm not sure about her acting. I think she needs to work more so as Chika. Ai is still looking for her emotions, but she is gonna be alright. As for Sarasa, she is sure talanted but she just copied the performance from that Blu-ray, so her problems only in her head. |
| For having taken acting classes (in a little amateurish club, far from Kouka's level), this episode brought back a lot of memories, I loved it. It's great to see a show that makes you revive your passion like that. Because there indeed is a lot of passion coming out of the characters. But speaking of which, I really don't get what is Sarasa lacking. She's got everything to become a great actress (including not looking at the audience, because seeing the others do so was very frustrating to me), and it's amazing to see how much she embraces the role she plays to the point you wouldn't even recognize her. And yet, she cannot become the star that she wishes to be ? Though when I think about it, the answer might be that she isn't paying enough attention to the rest of the team. She is only focusing on her own acting, which makes her a great actress but not a great partner. I might be wrong, but that's a real possibility because I already noticed that before, she is very sociable and friendly most of the time but becomes very individualistic when it comes to acting, and it can't work. Another thing regarding that : I find Sarasa to be a very interesting character, because of the contrast between her usual behaviour and her inner determination to achieve her goal. I already noticed that she is different from most characters her type (mostly realized that when she accepted that Ai didn't want to befriend her instead of insisting), but this is particularly noticeable anytime her determination and capacities are challenged. And in this episode, it was the case more than ever : it is clear losing the main role to Kaoru, even though it was a mere lack of luck on her part, is something she took very personally to the point Tybalt's words seemed to be her own. And when you think about how it's been shown she already lost her dream role in the past, it's giving us even more hints at the fact that underneath this cheerful and friendly exterior, lies a burning passion that can bring out many great things just like it can become very dangerous. I'm really curious to see what they will do with her character, I already like her a lot but she really has the potential to become one of my favorite characters from 2021, by far. And overall, I really don't understand why is this show so underwatched, so far it's been so much better than a lot of overly praised showed that recently aired. The characters are very well written and easy to get attached to, the story is engaging, the thematics very powerful (I never expected to see the topics of paedophilia and eating disorders being so well adressed)... Of course it's not perfect but still, a show of this quality truly deserves better than that. |

| My guess is that the teacher's criticism of Sarasa is because she can only mimic the performances of others, not create her own unique version of the character. |
