It hardly matters how much effort she put into finding Masamune, since when she had found him she immediately did completely the wrong thing. Even if she couldn't confess to Aki it was her (and of course she absolutely could have) she could have confessed to Masamune and helped bring them together in an entirely more healthy way. Pride and cowardice is at the root of all of this. |

It took me a moment to figure out what you were getting at, I forget what Aki can be like, she has certainly earned her nickname and Masamune rightly called her out for it. But no, as spoiled as Aki was and is, it's squarely Yoshino's fault for the current mess |

In fact I like the show all the more because I think Yoshino's behaviour is entirely believable, but that doesn't make it in any way excusable. Your two options are a false dichotomy, there are likely many paths Yoshino could have taken to bring Masamune and Aki back together. But that's not the point, the point is that the choice's Yoshino did make were hers alone, and the outcomes of those choices are hers to answer for. |

| I'm not sure how I feel about Yoshino. On one hand what she did to both Aki and Masamune was wrong (she clearly didn't know better at that age), and on the other hand she's been trying to make up for it by getting them together again. That being said... wow, he actually punched that annoying imposter right in the face. That was so satisfying. |
