Apparently,Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World (light novel)
| The show started out really good but somewhere around episode 4 it went downhill pretty hard. As the title say, I stuck it out until Ep 9 but I've lost interest. It seems like the final arc is starting now but if it's more of the same I'd rather spend my hour watching something else. So my question to you, dear reader, does the show improve for the last arc or is it more of the same? Thank you for any replies! |

| That's GEEKTOYS for ya. Even as an anime only you can realize, that adaptation is botched. First two or three episodes are fine, but then it's gets worse and worse. |

| Well, everybody has their own choice. You can drop it if you didn’t like it or you want to, I'm not going to stop you from that. And seeing the anime, I say this anime is not for every watcher out there, definitely not for kids. If you are looking for action, adventure or mystery then this is not your bread to eat. There is hardly any action in this anime. It only shows us the despair and a slow cycle of human life. This anime targets matured people. It can be compared to Freiren Each of the characters here lost something precious to them, they were broken but they did not lose hope, well some of them did but some got courage and got back up again gained something more than what they lost.This anime is about inspiration, Dedication and will to never give up or perhaps I'm just being too much of a philosopher : ) If you're looking for action, just don't watch it. But if you were broken or betrayed and looking for inspiration then I suggest you to re-watch the anime again from the beginning you'll get my point and maybe even understand the anime better. Let me also remind you that this anime is a story being told by the talking sword from the beginning. It said that it's a story about this party defeating the demon king but that won't be coming for a looong time also after acquiring the sword that was the time their true story began, which makes it very similar to Freiren. My favourite line from it will be "We are not bad people from the start, only difference is the paths we chose". And I will say this again everyone can not watch all genre animes (some may like action or some isekai more) but some animes purely depend on the mood if you are feeling down or were ever betrayed on the way, you will feel connected to this anime. Also lastly, thank you very much for reading this long boring comment in the first place. Even if you didn’t it's okay. |
