I checked it out a little and it does look pretty similar in a lot of ways. I may end up reading it at some point. I currently jump between reading and watching a lot of different things lately, with whatever I feel like checking out at the time.

Hi, I think you might have posted your review under the wrong entry of anime titled Kakurenbo:

Since you write about 30 minutes long movie and about CGI, it doesn't fit the description of the 2012 Kakurenbo anime, but of the second link.

Eyyy good to know! Tbh I don't see a lot of people talk about them or the overall scores of the anime are just relatively small in MAL that people don't really bother trying them out, so I thought it was worth to make the stack!
