No shit. In the end it ended up being relatively easy to change and re-estructure a whole monarchy. And it seems Anis will find a way to gain immortality to stay with Euphy so as result, all the angst and melodrama was for nothing... just dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. Ugh, this last arc was such a disaster in terms of writing.

Seriously, what a mediocre series this one ended up being. Utterly generic in all aspects and with its only selling point being the fact of having the "Girls Love" tag attached to it. And the yuri wasn't even that good, being honest. Euphy was supposedly straight during half the show but suddenly turns gay (or bi?) mainly because the plot demanded a strong reason for her to get in Anis' way and save her from being paired with a potential ugly bastard when taking the throne.
First few episodes were boring to say the least but everything went downhill the moment Anis' stupid brother revealed his nonsensical intentions and decided to attack them. Both KING and QUEEN were completely useless throughout the whole show, reincarnation concept was barely explored and the way Anis' personality did a 180º for the sake of forced drama in these last three episodes felt almost insulting.

That said, Ilia and Tilty will remain as the only good thing this anime had. Such a shame they were part of such uninspiring story tho.

3/10 - Wait, so Euphy is a top? Damn, definitely a "Top 10 Anime Plot-twist" moment alongside the fact of her and Anis now becoming sisters. Never change, Japan.

So who is the ruler in the final episode? The king stepped down abruptly so is Euphy the actual queen at that point?

Yuri is not my cup of tea
But but but?? euphie and anis were so cute together >~<)
And Lainie's voice was so beautiful
But I think they should have showed more in detail about how Magicology brought changes in their kingdom etc it would have been fun watching that
Anyways it was really a fun watch
Gonna miss it

I'd love if we could just have normal lesbians for once instead of them needing to be sisters in some convoluted way. Ruined a decent series.

Of course they had to make it "technically incest" by the end, it wouldn't be an anime otherwise!

Jokes aside I straight up cried with the last few moments of this show, I was very worried that we might have a bittersweet ending but it was lighthearted and wholesome and undeniably a good ending. Good for them! They deserve all the happiness in the world. Absolutely adorable show, 10/10 would recommend to a friend

So now, Euphyllia and Anisphia became sisters (so Euphyllia's surname is now von Palletia instead of Magenta/Magentia?). Additionally, they are now kissing like lovers. "Magical revolution" is on its way and changes are coming, blacksmith Thomas has some contribution in that. The former prince Algard is exiled somewhere. Conspirators like Count Chartreuse are dead. Orphans and Sylphine are now cultivating vegetables, from what was shown. Lumielle is watching all of this in amusement. Tilty is probably engrossed in her hobby and watches what is happening as well. Prime Minister Grantz I don't know what is doing and how is he helping. Lainie (Ryeini) is now working as a maid inside the royal palace along Ilia, hopefully not being overworked (dunno how many maids or butlers are being employed there). Euphy has been shown to be as powerful as a very large and heavy cannon (destroying a fortification) and Anis somehow sturdier than that thick wall. Their plans could work, I think, but a lot of cooperative people are necessary to fulfill them.

So, if there are 6 LN Volumes currently out in Japan, then where and when does the anime ending sit in this whole story? I don't know unfortunately, I would like to know. It could go further than episode 12, I'm sure. I actually added the LN to my novelupdates.com list years ago. Current ending is rather nice, fairly happy and on a positive note. :-)

The "fight" was much shorter than I expected but damn, Euphie's fairy power was really cool.

...Holy shit they kissed! I love how the roles got reversed from how it was in the beginning. Euphie won't wait xD.

Anis and Euphie looked so beautiful in those dresses. The aerial dance was so gay great.

Seriously, it's so funny how Euphie was the shy and reserved one in the beginning and now she's the one giving kisses on the lips while Anis shyly gives them on the cheek xD.

This was a really nice ending. And overall, the first episode fascinated me but after that I didn't feel the same way about the rest of the show. I especially wasn't a fan of Al's plot. It was a still a pretty good show though and one that I enjoyed a lot... And most importantly, finally a show that is not just yuri bait!

at the beginning Anis looked like the more aggressive type who just takes what she wants and Euphie was shy, new roles reversed lol

if they make another season they better not go in forced arranged marriage route, if they do only S1 exists to me, in this type of story i want happy end to the 2mains

Boy, did the show get dark and heavy in the last few episodes! Definitely needed those yuri smooches to seal the deal for this season, xD.

Immortality is not a simple gamble to wager on and the contractor's past pretty much suggested that in full bloom. But respect to Euphy for still willing to take that in order to save Anisphia-sama from the burden of the royal family. Both possibly embracing immortality and supporting each other sounds a bit nicer though, I guess I hope that turns out happening? It's a bit difficult to wish for that, lol.

Euphy really took the charge and it was fantastic to see her reassure Anisphia's insecurities. Last few seconds before the ending of the episode with the pleasant vibes was a nice way to sign off, I though, even though much of the content was anything but otherwise.

I think a lot of people felt that the show fell off after Al's vampire plan was set to motion and quite frankly, I'd have to agree with that too, but I still enjoyed the extra focus on the internal struggles of the characters. It was nice to see the support from Tilty and the maid bonding between Ilia-san and Lainie.

All in all, I'll settle with an 8/10 for this show. One of the standouts of the season for me.

I really, really enjoyed this anime. But how different the LN changes the situation with Euphie becoming a spirit contractor... I don't know. That one small aspect of the series reallyyyyyy leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I understand she didn't want Anis to become queen, but in exchange for her becoming immortal and potentially losing all feeling and emotion? Yikes. Maybe just maybe, she keeps her reason and senses... but she doesn't age. Rene says part of the contract is you'll eventually become a spirit itself. I don't think even losing that fight I could accept it - immortality is a curse in my eyes.

Willing to bet the LN will touch on the dragon curse Anis has, it's probably immortality itself; in dragon form... and they'll be together forever as Anis said in the ending episode. It's a nice thought but I'm not exactly on board with it. What's worse is I think the ending episode makes it clear there won't be another adaptation, meaning, I won't be around to find out how author will resolve the immortality issue. Would give this a 9/10 but that alone has really annoyed me, so 7/10.

I really do enjoy yuri and animes like this one where they don´t beat around the bush is a rarity, but this second half was painful to watch which decreased good amount my enjoyment... everything started by how they dealt with that brother of hers (how they did end up having a happy-go-lucky conversation after all he did?!), and the following episodes were just as painful (all that drama/melodrama... the royalty matters.. they really took their time dragging that out). The only good episode of the second half was -obviously- episode 12.

So... very mixed feelings here.

Up until the end of episode 11 I was planning giving this anime 5/10 but this last episode is surely a +1 extra point, so 6/10, even though I wish I could give this anime more. The 1st half was 7 or 8/10 for me.

First I need to say that this anime started very well and was a disappointment in the end, they missed many opportunities to make the story much more complete and well done, in the end it was just an anime that tried to play with a serious plot construction and in the end failed to all aspects except that of giving joy to those who love a Yuri anime.

Yknow i did not actually expect any Yuri in the last episode lmao it caught me so off guard i pressed alt f4 in surprise.
This was a really good anime with a really ending that people can only wish a lot of other anime also had.
There's just one thing and that is the isekai aspect its such a minor detail only mentioned once in the end shortly there's no point in calling/making it an isekai if you don't even get into the basics of actually worldbuilding the original, yet it still found its way into the title and into the genre

But in the end it doesn't even matter you get a pretty damn solid anime in the end.

"Am I a fake" huh... every reincarnate should ask themselves that, LOL (oopies, I killed the person that's suppose to be within this body)

And we ended with a Yuri ending, LOL

(also, Euphy pushing Anis down on the bed... SEGGS TIME)

___ ___ ___

Also, looks like this is gonna become the "Kingdom of Yuri Immortal Queens"

Where the Kingdom will be forever ruled by Anis and Euphy with no "heir"

(well, that's if Anis does figure out a way to become immortal) (and hopefully not too long... else Euphy would just end up with a old Anis forever...)

___ ___ ___

BTW, I think the King just wants to step down cause he's tired of all the responsibilities and wants a more chill life. (aka, his "garden life" as mentioned before he decide to become a king)

And they showcased their flying bike and flying suits. (no longer a broom)

___ ___ ___

BUT WAIT... when you thought this was a HAPPY END...

The ending narrator said...

"Euphy... The last Queen"

HUH? so... did the Kingdom died in the future? or did they abolished the Monarchy system? (aka, changing the "Tradition")

So... basically this world turns into "Democracy Earth world" (aka Anis's past life world)

after the trash last episode, this one surely made up for it lol the problem was resolved quickly and we had a lot of post battle moments
i loved the kissing part, i liked the parts where Euphy was talking about freedom (lol ironic, since it's politics), and ofc, i liked all the magical presentation they did at the end

now, anyone who knows me knows what i will say lol
i couldn't care less about most politic stuff, and i usually don't even care too much about story telling ... what i care the most about is having fun watching characters interact

and so... this anime had great interactions between all the girls, and even with their parents, and for that, i'd rate this a 10
having yuri, is also a plus, so i would also rate this a 10
but, knowing how much i hated everything else, mostly related to politics, corrupted nobles, and even her annoying brother... i'd rate that part a 5 at most...

and so... already being generous, i'll end up with an 8/10
i'd probably watch more, i like the charas, and now that the political part is resolved, whatever comes after... can't be worse than it was here... right?

it sucks for them cause no matter who takes the throne rule is man and a woman together can be on the throne not 2woman and not 2men, so 1of them ends up just being a lover, they can't marry, queen has to produce a new heir to the throne, that's from medieval rule book

so if they make new season heart ships w8 for them cause she has to marry a dude

beautiful series, making them fight in the end doesnt make much sence, they could have made the same changes sharing the crown as they had stablished that they can overpower any oposition and both with the backing of their families were enough to shut the rest up. The whole final conflict kinda brought it down a point

i really liked this series. the ending was both happy and not happy we will need continuation to know if they can be forever happy despite euphie doing the contract. there is also the sad thing that now that euphie is a part of the palletia family she cannot officially have anis as her lover and also as euphie loves anis she didnt want her to get a king/prince but now that she herself is the queen wont she have to get a king? or would that be a part of their breaking traditions way of ruling.

the ending was very emotional. i also like how despite technically being an isekai it differs from the rest, its more of just having memories of previous life (which was never explained why she has them) than standard isekai of getting transported to another world and then comparing how different it is to yours.

there were a few flaws which is why i cant give this a 10 but a 9 is a great score anyway.

Kinda felt like they turned the whole show a 180 in the last few episodes, or at least the characters.

I was sure they were going to think of a 3rd option at the last minute like idk a revolution. . . o wait they did get rid of the nobles. So why did Euphie need to take the spirit deal in the first place?
could've just gone:
Anis becomes queen-> breaks traditions like they did -> marries euphie -> the kingdom is gone and now its a republic

Cute and wholesome ending, with a lot of LN animes the story kinda loses me midway, unsure if it's because they're cramming in a bunch of story into 12 ep or what. I did think it was open ended yuri bait, but they actually start lowkey dating !! Amazing.

in Japan, married couples are encouraged to have the same surname. Anis and Euphie now have the same surname. lol
I think getting adopted into the family is the method that the author used for both of them to have same surname.

can't spoil anything further. I encourage you to read the novel.

Interesting episode, didn't particularly love or hate it. I like that there was at least some sort of conflict between Euphy and Anis about her being queen, but idk. It would've made more sense if Anis explained everything to Euphy first instead of them actually fighting over it. Overall, it's a fine series. The romance is slightly above average, Euphy caring more about Anis than herself is a bit too much in the wrong direction really, but whatever. The plot was pretty boring, and the characters were definitely characters. Idk, not a ton worked with this anime. The relationship between Anis and the royal family is pretty good, but other than that it's all a bit lacking in terms of character. The last arc after they beat Al was kinda boring. Oh well, I'd still watch season 2

Just like LN volume 3, I have mixed feelings with this ending, I dont like Euphy supposed fate and sacrifice, hopefully since the LN keeps going after this, there will be some kind of better conclusion to Euphy that I will read... aside that, the fight was meh, and rushed, so while some of the fights were an improvement with the anime, this one was just too rushed for that to happen, yet had a few decent scenes.

I decided to wait for this to end and only now finished so I can grown out of it a bit, but this final episode did a few things I really enjoyed, like the extra scenes showing people's fate, which we dont read about in the LN, and tbh, it was really how they were able to sucessfuly adapt all the greatness of the yuri scenes, to the anime, that had me back and ending this with a positive feeling, just like in the LN, it was refreshing to see Euphy taking charge and Anis to be all that tame and meek, fuckiing adorable~~

8.1/10 = 8

This series had a strong start, and did most of the fights better, but when they started to rush like crazy, it kinda dropped the ball for me, but they delivered a solid one with the conclusion, so by the end I m left with that good feeling after finishing (and wishing the LN full translation wont take much longer)!
Solid yuri that can be experienced even for those that are not into yuri.

I havent read past this volume on the LN, since it was the last volume translated at the time, but by last Queen it definitily meant the end of Monarchy and transition for a Democratic Regime, that is almost certain, no Euphy wont die or anything like that.

Also this only adapted up to volume 3, already rushing tons, IMO deserved at least 1 more episode to flesh out the middle arc better... the story continues past this, with the Light Novel.

Initially, I was drawn to the show by the presence of a strong and cheerful main female character, along with elements of CGDCT and a yuri theme.

While I initially enjoyed the lighthearted nature of the anime, it gradually became more dramatic and, dare I say, a bit tedious. The sudden shift in tone and pacing caught me off guard, and I found myself longing for the earlier episodes that captured the essence of what had drawn me in initially.

In fact, the last four episodes felt like a completely different show altogether. I even had to resort to speeding them up just to reach the conclusion and satisfy my curiosity about the ending. It's disheartening when a series you've invested time in deviates from its initial strengths and loses its appeal.

Thus, my final score will be 6/10.

A happy ending I guess. They made a big deal of how terrible the immortality was but it was not an immediate memory and emotional wipe. So basically they can live long happy lives and the "consequences" will just kick in hundreds of years later when she starts forgetting things. Honestly hated this whole last arc, they really overdid it with the melodrama. The resolution was really dumb considering they even admitted that that king could still have more children and that was a real option, not that immortality is a bad thing either like they made it sound.

Overall, really loved the first half or so of the show. But after that they just started doing things that didn't make sense and Anis character just fell apart over the smallest things.

The last episode kisses made it worthy of a 9/10 score lol, but i felt a bit dissatisfied about the last 2 episodes because I'm not a big fan of heavy drama anime/scenes. If there's a possible chance of a season 2 I'm looking forward to it because it mainly focuses on romance and daily life right after the anime ends.

what a boring isekai. Isekai are meant to be using knowledge from previous life or have cheat skill and either be OP or everything is under the control of MC. This isekai is not within that category. can't belive I wasted and try my hardest to make sure I finished this anime and not drop it simply because I'm a big fan and hardcore isekai genre anime. I love the way they brush all the issues under the rug for a "happily ever after" ending. Like the whole reason there was all this problems of the past few episodes is because you can't just do what you want. A queen has to have an heir and has to get the nobles support etc, what happened to that? Apparently suddenly it doesnt matter.

It was just like the prince revolt - the dude literally kills the vampire girl and bullied the other 1 till she was borderline suicidal but he loses a fight and suddenly hes turned over a new leaf and all is forgiven? Lol wut? He didnt turn over a new leaf he just LOST THE FIGHT if hed won hed be still murdering people and shit, who was next in his plan? His father? To become king hed have had to kill his father Im guessing. But hey its just a feel good anime so those pesky details dont matter.

Also emotional scenes kind of loses its effectiveness if you have 3 episodes in a row of nonstop crying and emotional scenes lol.
