| I'd want to see an S2 as well (it's one of the more interesting fantasy/isekai titles out there, in my opinion), but reality is harsh, there's still no word on S2, so don't get your hopes up. The first season was released seven years ago, maybe there's a slim chance for S2, but with each passing second, that likelihood shrinks. |

| A seriously good story, and a really great anime treatment. Just rewatched it, and I was enchanted once again by the story, the visual design, the pacing, the focus on character, everything. Super well done. Had to read the LNs after seeing the anime, and they're great too. Lots of terrific material there to continue the anime series; it's a shame no studio is willing to do so (so far). This beats the pants off of most other isekai. g- |

| It's just simply not popular with the kids. Most shounen who are the majority of anime watchers prefer trashy "power fantasy" fantasy to actual good fantasy with good writing. There's no chance of a second season unfortunately. |
