| Throwing out shock value suicide attempts (she conveniently landed in the flowers, so might survive that) to sustain interest is cheap. A girl worried for her druggie brother could make for a decent subplot, but it instead consisted of a bunch of meandering exposition and Ayaka getting upset for about a minute before going back to gardening for a month. There's no sense of urgency in any episode of this series at any point. |
