Why isn't there a mal entry for the original novel?

This site has other novels like Welcome to the NHK, The Ring, and Battle Royale. I don't know why the original novel for No Longer Human doesn't have it's own entry. If it does could somebody link it, because I searched everywhere and couldn't find it.

MAL ain't boutto add every book in existence. Or even published in Japan.

I just thought it would make sense to have it since the manga is extremely popular and it did have an anime adaptation

I don't think it's registered because it's a book that would be read by the general public who have no interest in anime at all. As for Osamu Dazai, he is famous as a great writer when it comes to Japanese novelists. His "Hashire Merosu" is even published in textbooks, so I think it is different from the framework of novels registered in MAL.

I asked one of the mods, and he told me that it was released too early. There's a rule in the database that novels published before a certain year (forgot what it was) can't be added.
