What a pathetic way to end it. Poor sales.

I don't know if you are new or just don't know the industry very well but this is one of the main reasons why a manga gets cancelled. You might say that the author should've tried harder but that IMO is some of the most toxic and generic criticism you can throw out there. Mangakas go through hell and earth to write and draw these stories only for them to be cut short and people dismiss it as another "piece of trash" that should go in the bin. Even if I didn't like the story, art, characters, whatever, I always appreciate what these people are doing and think it is extremely disheartening though understandable when any series gets cancelled. Yes there are certain mangaka which might not work "hard enough", but even then they just want to entertain us and make us feel something with their stories, and it always puts me the wrong way when I see people be so dismissive of them.

:(

As a sequel it was interesting.

To aim to sell as much as it did at the time with AKAME GA KILL, though, is crazy

Now times have changed indeed the fashion has changed

A shame that it's discontinued, but that's what it fucking gets for going with the hentai route.

We (I, personally) like Akame ga Kill for the fights, brutal murders and uninteresting characters who-only-get-little-development-when-they're-going-to-die, not all this sexual bullshit.

What an annoying outcome. Hinowa ga Crush wasn't amazing or anything, but I still wanted to see the end of it, especially since it was more or less a sequel to AgK. Unfinished manga are a bummer.

I told them that the manga story is so unpopular like its prequel, but no, they don't know when to listen.

Same. I didn't like the direction it was going but I was already invested enough in the characters and wanted to see it through to the end. I was also really hoping some of the other characters from Akame ga Kill might show up. Unfortunately that's all done now.

I reached the end of chapter 53. I was confused in the following from the wikipedia pages. https://akamegakill.fandom.com/wiki/Rinzu
