I started this recently. I've seen two eps. If I remember correctly a lot of people were claiming it to be best show of the fall but I don't see it. So far it's been boring. Is it gonna get better going forward?

The last few episodes were, for me, the absolute best. Not just of this anime, but from any anime that aired in 2022. So yea, it does get better. And if you still don't like the story or characters etc. you'll at least hear some great music.

yes since the first two eps is just the introduction to the world and the characters but soon in like ep 3 or 4 that's when the ball starts to roll. I would honestly just recommend trying to watch a few more eps to see how you like it first, but if by then it doesn't match your taste then you can stop ig.

Yea I think generally after like 6 episodes, you can decide if it's worth to keep watching or not.

If you're a fan of cuteness / comedy anime. this anime has its strength to entertain you till the end ( Well it depends on your taste ) if you say you're bored after watching ep 1 then better to drop the anime.

I think it isn't just for you. Perhaps you aren't into CGDCT show. So don't push yourself to watch something you won't enjoy.

It is 2nd best CGDCT anime ever made.
This genre is not for everyone, so if you don't like it, just don't bother and don't feel bad about it.

I think you should give it at least 3 eps (I usually do that with most anime) if you still think it's not to ur taste, you're probably better off not watching it. That said, this is a pretty good slice of life/CGDCT anime overall, so if you don't like this you almost definitely won't like this genre.

I haven't finished the series yet, missing only the movie and the OVAs, but I think for now both of them are equally good. They both did a really great job of adapting a 4-kouma (K-On S2, mostly. I didn't think it would be possible to get +20 eps out of like 30-40 chapters that were left).

I liked the show but it was definitely worse than edgerunners for me. I guess it gets a little bit better but not much and if you find it boring now than you probably will keep finding it boring.

im not really into cdgct but i have to admit that k on was pretty good but i like bocchi more cuz the anime connected to me on a spiritual level. when i was watching it i was like "holy shit she fuckin gets it she knows what i go through hail bocchi"

Tbh its a subjective type of thing, I enjoyed this anime from the get go even tho it was kinda slow paced for the first 4 or 3 episodes, the story gets very interesting for a comedy anime and the gags becomes crazier and funnier overtime, the last episodes are lowkey one of the best comedy episodes I have ever seen.

You don't see it cause it's not. Among the 8.x rated from fall, you can watch Chainsaw Man, Mob Psycho, Eminence in Shadow, Bleach and ignore the rest

i think it's not if you don't like CGDCT anime, even though that is not the main theme of bocchi the rock

the characters are relatable enough, if you are an introvert (atleast the main character is, anyway)

being a guitarist myself, i may be a bit biased, you know......😛🫠

For the most part it seems that you aren’t really into slice of life’s. It’s safe to drop, while it’s a fun show, you aren’t missing out on a lot. I would just try the 3 episode rule and drop it if it doesn’t really pique your interest.

it's worth it imo, but if you think the first two eps are boring you might not enjoy the rest of it.
I personally was already intrigued at that point.
it's a slice of life series about girls who form a band with a focus on the anxious main character, it's not going to pick up any more pace or develop shocking twists or anything.

I'm an Introvert and I don't dislike CGDCT. Just from what I've seen in two eps. It didn't pique my interest. But I'll give it a shot for maybe one more ep.

I personally found this to be the most overhyped or overrated anime of 2022 which failed to live up to my expectations. So I personally won't recommend it to anyone. I was expecting something mind-blowing or extra ordinary since the fans were hyping it up to be the next big thing in the industry or something like that and I already had a feeling that it's all going to be lies and I was proved correct when I watched it. Also the comedy felt so lame and childish. Reminded me of FMAB, DS and Komi's ass comedy scenes.

It improves, but it wasn't personally my aots, though I did really enjoy it. Give it a couple more episodes and if you still don't enjoy it, just drop it, there's nothing wrong with not finishing a show you don't enjoy.

Maybe it's just not your style. Just dont knock the quality of it because you personally don't enjoy it.

If you don’t like what you’ve already seen, you won’t like the rest of it. Personally, it’s one of my favorites, and I enjoyed every second of it. But if it’s not your cup of tea, watch something else

Its similar humor and vibes throughout the whole show. Which is for the most part, lowbrow. Unless you personally identify with the main character, the show has nothing if you dont like the comedy. And I like CGDCT shows. This was incredibly below average. It wasnt the best music anime of the year (that goes to Paripi Koumei), OR even the best animated show or comedy show in the same season it aired with. Its just lolreddit humor the anime.

Watch up to the 4th episode. everything after that is pretty much the same. It's a better K-on, but that's about it.

I mean, idrk why it has such a high score. Ik it does a lot better than most CGDCT, but still. Yeah, it’s fine if you don’t like it though. It’s good, but it’s not like a “need” to watch it.

For me as more episodes were out, it was getting better and better. Watching Bocchi, how she try to get into society and get out of her comfortable zone. It's definitely worth to watch it or give it a second chance.

Personally, I really liked Bocchi but it's not going to be for everyone. maybe consider giving it to around episode 4 or so but drop it if you don't care for it. Nothing wrong with not finishing a series you don't care for.

I don't think the series was necessarily overrated but I do think it's a series that doesn't necessarily have universal appeal. Cute girls doing cute things, slice of life, focus on anxiety, focus on music, these aren't necessarily the most universally popular things.
