How did Koyomi managed to escape that machine in the very first time?

Actually the 2 films have their own story, it's just that the two stories are related to each other. So shiori and kazune have their own koyomi. Based on these 2 movies it can be concluded that koyomi & kazune have a happy ending whereas ghost koyomi & ghost shiori have a happy ending (not living in any parallel world)
