| Quite simple episode... Nothing to hype for. The mist Hashira is looking strong but all he care is just a training... While Tanjiro actually thinking of breaking the doll .. Mist Hashira and his crow are annoying... He the sun breathing descendants but can't use one... If he actually can use the sun breathing... He might be the strongest hashira... Well, pretty sure the OP and ED song are not loveable as the previous songs.... But the visual are great as always. |

| Awful episode. Tanjiro is insufferable as always, the new guy Kotetsu isn't any better. Tanjiro got yet another asspull and an implausible reward in the form of the hidden sword. His monologues pointing the obvious, as always. The dialogues aren't much better, being cringe inducing for the most part. |

| Tanjiro got stronger training with that dummy but nobody is gonna mention how that dummy has the same hanafuda earrings as him? Maybe it's a common fashion thing lmao. Could that mysterious sword at the end be super powerful? We'll see in the next episode ig lol. |

| I finally understand the complaints about the "Indian TV show"-ish camera cuts. I didn't notice it from the previous episode. But this episode had an awful lot of it. Seems to me that they compensated, in exchange for time-consuming greatly-drawn scenes, with excessive comical reaction shots and chibi models for Tanjiro. This is quite a weak episode. Almost felt like it's only been a 5-minute clip with a brief appearance by the Hashira dude and the sassy bird, with the only takeaway being Tanjiro's training against a doll-form replica of one of the 12-Kizuki. And of course the 300-year-old sword but, that's for the next episode. |

| Oh, I see. I thought the "Bollywood" effect that people mentioned was those slow-mo zoom-ins on Tanjiro's shocked chibified face. But either way, those chibi models and comical reactions ran rampant during this episode. |

| This episode felt like Season 1 Tanjiro's training arc, less flashy action, focus on swordplay. (っ˘ڡ˘ς) Yorichii doll so sturdy it withstood 3 centuries, though it needs maintenance and Kotetsu is the last from his generation. The sudden motivated look, looks like he's about to sword breathing is so funny. I thought he will be the one who will later forge new sword for Tanjiro, but oh boy a 300 yr old sword is inside Yorichi Doll. (°ロ°) ! ED is cute, focus to Mitsuri and Muchirou, I think later it tells a bit about Muchirou's backstory, he has someone who makes him smile, the time when he can still express emotions. Commonly reason for him being emotionless, the guy maybe died xD |

| If not for the OK visuals, this episode would be the total opposite of the first. Awful at best. The comedy was bad, the dialogues were poor. The events were (aside from the finding in the end) absurd. Utter trash in my opinion. |

| Ah yes, Tanjiro's ever-reliable weapon, his nose. I don't see why he couldn't just go back to the village if he wanted food. Starvation is a pretty stupid method of training. And we probably found the secret sword Mitsuri was talking about. |

| From first impressions I'm not quite sure what to think of Muichirou. He seems very self-possessed, disrespectful and arrogant, which is a complete opposite of Rengoku or Tengen. As Tanjirou stated, swordsmiths have a very important role and without them demon slayers could not do their job. Unfortunately, Muichirou himself seems to downplay this fact. By the end of the last episode I wasn't quite sure what or who the Yoriichi looking person was. It would never have occurred to me that it was about a doll. In addition, a doll with 6 arms, otherwise it would not have been possible to imitate Yoriichi's movements. So it's no wonder why Muichirou was so keen to get the key from Kotetsu to train with this doll. One thing is for sure, Muichirou is insanely strong, which was very evident from the punch that knocked Tanjirou out instantly. For a moment we could even see Hotaru, who for some reason doesn't want to be found. After Tanjirou finally woke up, we were able to learn from Kotetsu the real reason why he was so reluctant to release the ending. The doll was made 300 years ago and apparently the technology is so advanced that not even people from the current era are able to repair it should it get damaged. Muichirou's crow seems to be in no way inferior to him as she seems to have a similar character. On top of that, she also has Kugimiya Rie's voice, which only made this scene funnier. It happened the way it had to. During training, Muichirou damaged the Yuriichi Type 0 doll, leaving it with only 5 arms. Luckily, it still seemed to be working normally when Tanjirou and Kotetsu checked it out. Since Kotetsu seems to have quite a hatred towards Muichirou, he now wanted Tanjirou to train himself with the doll to become stronger than Muichirou. Even if the training was a real ordeal, Tanjirou was able to show success after a relatively short time. He now perceives a scent that appears to appear before the opening thread and can thus predict his opponent's movements. With a full stomach and his newly acquired ability, Tanjirou faced another training session with the Yoriichi Type 0 and was able to land a massive blow that revealed a sword inside the doll. Who put that sword there and for what reason? Could it eventually be the weapon Mitsuri mentioned? |
