Question about the girls

This is a gimmick that confuses me. I want to know if the girls that help Rokudo actually care about him genuinely and it’s not just the magic at play. It’s kind of hard to root for him if he’s not working hard to get these girls to like him. It all feels forced, even outside of the romance aspect. There’s no logical reason for the main girl to help him at all. Is this addressed in the manga? I don’t mind about spoilers.

that power is the most important factor. it allows him to attract bad girls. So basically the more a girl is bad the more she'll be attracted to him. As Himawari (main girl) currently is the baddest girl, she's getting attracted the most. (as far as i can guess by just watching the beginning episodes)

It's just because it's a poorly written show. It's just fetish bait for people into delinquent girls and your not supposed to think about it much more than that.

It's something like charm effect, like flex says the effect is stronger to bad girls but not have any effect on good girls.

for spoiler :
the charm effect becomes less effective the more the story progresses as the girls get nicer and start helping him not because of the charm anymore.
only ranna remains violent because of a reason. i forgot which chapter that explain this part.

Hey it's a brainwashing harem, so unless rokudo makes the girls become "good girls" it's only the brainwashing spell and not actually any real feelings.

That's the entire idea of the story. Rokudou wants to reform the girls so that they won't be bad anymore and thus not affected by the spell (not even a spoiler because he already said he wants to reform Banchou in episode 2)

Of course its only because of the spell, i dont get how could you think that its because they genuinely care about him. he said it himself he doesnt want this spell and if it werent for it, none of this girls would ever look at him
