| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty good, it seems the series is more enjoyable whenever it steers away from its basic 2 plots of rebellion and stolen passes. Good to hear Akira Kamiya as Prider too. Somebody should tell him though that the dreams of fame and fortune are rather unrealistic in a universe that only has poor planets. |
| This ep brought back memories of Tokyo Drifter and its oft-repeated beautiful, sad (and somewhat corny) theme song. |
| That cliffhanger! Pretty good episode, I really liked that song especially as in the OST Isao Sasaki is singing it! |

| After Prider was selfish about his dream, he, Tetsurou and Maetel are now in trouble because of the Valkyries. I wonder what they are. Or rather, what do they want? I sense that this involves Prider's beloved. |
| I feel bad for Prider's girlfriend. Imagine working to save up money to give to your lover, only for them to use it in a way that involves leaving you. The Valkyries could be a problem. What will Tetsurou, Maetel and Prider do? |

| Prider is such a selfies guy. Only caring about himself. "borrowing' money, it seems to me he's stealing from he's GF. Feel sorry for he's GF. Curious what those Valkyries is gonna do. |
| Well, glad that that settles my doubts about some of the logistics in the series. Air is important only when it is, planet design is based on concept rather than application, and the rule they have for how long to stay on said planets is bogus. Like, I get that it's a fictional situation, but you can stay consistent within them. Regarding the clone episode, I'm not going to expect air to matter when it's established that you can pull down a train window in space and just be fine. Anyways, for this episode. Yeah, Tetsuro was more hands-on than usual, but what surprised me was more so how haughty he was. The rest of the episode was pretty normal for this show. The singer was selfish, gotta agree with that. |
