| From the cover alone (you could tell what this was going to be) my expectation weren't high, and after the first episode they go even lower. What was the point of the first 10 minutes? Make me feel bad, then feel like "Oh nice, fuck overcoming problems, better just make me instantly OP and good looking"? It's not different to lots of anime with the same setting, but that doesn't make this less crappy. Generic MC, bad guys, secondary characters, etc. All people here already said anything worth mentioning. I'm going to keep watching it? Maybe, just for fun, it sucks but its not the worst I have watched, and maybe I'm used to watch so much trash with crappy animation quality, but this seems rather fine. I think people complaining about quality have way more anime to watch (try watching Ningen Fushin from last season and then tell me this looks bad). Also, I like the OP song. All said, probably this is going to be popular, it checks all the marks. |

| I've already read the light novel so I'll only give my first impression for the anime itself: Actually great composition, sound design, art design & camera shots. This feels like I'm watching a semi-ufotable anime because of how good it looks but the story is the only thing weighing it down because it's a guilty pleasure power-fantasy where the MC becomes powerful while there's even more but even so, subjectively, I still enjoy it. |
