| The princess got accustomed to this new place very fast, too fast I'd say. Same as the above post, could have made the departure a bit more memorable. 11 episodes constraint coming hard. |
| Ultimately the elders did the right thing for Kaina but they should've make the parting scene a bit more emotional since it's a one-way journey |
| Personally I found the scene with him leaving very sad. I don't know if he's not very smart or just emotionally very flat but there's a very good chance that this is the very last time he will see the elders, the only family he'd ever known. For them it must heartbreaking to have their only young person leaving |

| The skytree's population can't be very high, considering only about five elderly people are shown living in it. They only implied it, but I'm almost certain they were hoping Kaina and Ririha would help repopulate their numbers eventually. While that might seem unlikely following the events of this episode, Ririha did find a way up in the first place, so it's not impossible. It could also be that the tree does have younger people and they just aren't shown on-screen, but I'm not sure. Liking the characters so far too. Even the unnamed old people living in the tree seem responsive and altruistic, and I can see why Ririha already got a bit attached to them, despite only being there for a short time. |
