| On one hand, I feel like Itchigo is getting stronger a little fast. To the point where he is already stronger than most of the captains except the captain of squad 1. This is the first mayor arc of the story and he's already defeated characters that are ment to be the strongest in the Bleach universe. Kinda makes you worry he'll have anyone left to fight the next 300 episodes. On the other hand, this episode is the first time I've felt proper hype. This episode I feel like has hype levels on par with One Piece and Naruto, which is to be expected, but Itchigo is also giving me serious Guts of Berserk vibes. Although I don't think that's accidental. Kubo has very clearly drawn inspiration from Guts' design. I mean obviously he's gonna defeat Byakuya, who's been hyped up as one of the stronger captains. Definetly not THE strongest captain by any means, but it doesn't leave many left for Itchigo to fight. I also feel like the captains being so easily defeated early on is probably risking making the lieutenants feel weaker the rest of the series. I am getting the sense that they're gonna get sidelined as if they were dragon ball characters. Not to mention all the lower ranked fodder. |

| this amount of plot convenience is hella hard to digest....... yea the most powerful ppl would ofc just quitely watch, not intervine. fire bird? idk kinda lame??? bruh looks like a chicken, head on. character actions just so silly. close to the biggest L (of keeping Ganju alive). just cant get behind the ""hype"" when its this emptyyy sigh. the way this whole arc has been going feels totally opposing on itself. like yea given we know the backstory of Rukia and Renji, being part of the 13 Squads should be ohh wowww so special and earned trough hard work. full of respect. skillfull. but then this whole time the majority of everyone inside is just braindead NPC men (goofing off&) falling at a single strike. no braincells used, no sense of spirit 'orientation' either esp from all captains n lieutenants, like u cant tell me the ryoka squad be covering their pressure, as if. this is just annoying for how little it comes together. takes all meaning and depth away the only thing worth watching atp is Kenpachi and Yachiru. the real goats. and this new ED sucks |
