| Those 30 mins flew by. Objectively speaking the story and message was amazing, but I hate sad stories of loss and getting older, so 9/10. Great animation and art as always. |

| Great episode. I really liked seeing Violet try to understand Irma's heart. I realized after the first few attempts that she needed to write a letter that would move Irma and I'm glad she was able to touch her heart. The opera performance at the end was absolutely stunning. I think I'm going to be listening to that for a while. 8/10 |

This mother and ova is absolutely brilliant. However, at first this girl annoyed me a bit because she didn't say what she wanted or that she wanted to make music for him. 😳 But how sad brother he was when he found out more about her, or when he saw all those letters that never reached the person he was supposed to reach. 😭😭💔 However, what letter to write has exceeded all limits with it, and will even end up somewhere among the best. 😭🤚🏻 |
| The drama of this show really peaked in the second half, finally because I was a bit bored on the first part, really got me feeling, been a while since I saw S1, but this definitly felt like Violet Evergarden. Climax had me totally invested, but not for once I believe Violet wrote those lyrics, sorry but nah, otherwise really good episode. 8.3/10 = 8 |

| Holy frick that opening opera is probably *the* highest quality music scene I have ever heard in any anime. I listen to a lot of music, and usually a lot of anime has dubbed or attempted singing, but that sounded like a legitimate and incredible opera. Bravo! And the dedication Violet showed to learn the hearts of people, and finally putting them into words, was amazing |
| Loved the song from the beginning at the opera theatre, but also the song that Violet composed for Irma. Maybe I kinda expected that Hugo would appear at the end, but it was amazing even this way. |
| The letter that Violet made (and the lyrics sang by Irma) unfroze time. I feel as if this series is so relevant in our times nowadays. In fact, this OVA shows what happens when the war ends. People have not fully moved on. The soldiers who died in the war are still fresh in the minds of the families and friends who were left behind. The song that Irma sang is one step forward towards healing the community. It'll take years to rebuild and restore the country, but the day will surely come when people will be emotionally and mentally restored from the tragedies of war. |

| Very solid episode. Irma was the most demanding client so far. At first I thought she could've been another typical famous artist, so full of herself and eccentric, but as the story progressed, she appeared to be actually alright. I loved this episode's finale. Really beautifully sang song. |
| not bad. it was more of the same but there was nothing special about it. i hope violet gets the credit for writing the lyrics to the opera and that she gets paid well for having to do all that research and typing. that starting was extremely annoying. i cant stand opera singing, it pierces my ears. |
