| Tbh, I don't think Anisphia is ready or even wants to be heir of throne in that royal capital. Like really, she never appeared to me as a queen type of character. Not sure how I feel about Euphie in this case but she didn't seem all that thrilled about it either. Man, this episode was somewhat tense but also goes to show that the two are still friends no matter what. |

| The ending of the previous episode was so disappointing, so this episode felt much better. That spirit contract sounds very interesting. I hope we'll get a happy ending between Anis and Euphie. I lliked their date. :3 |

| With Algard gone, Anis finds herself thrust within the royal spotlight to succeed as queen. But with the way that she is, no men would ever want to accept her for her magicology and experiments, whicb is particularly concerning. Anis being particularly emotionally strong, it's obvious that she doesn't want the others to worry much about her, the most offended being Tilty getting mad in her face. Euphyllia, also one to be concerned, engages with Anis to carry her worries together, with a date to retrieve back Arc-en-Ciel. The townsfolk acknowledging Anis's presence even when she's clothed down, and people like Tomas are legitimately and particularly worried if Anis were to claim the throne, drawing the line between nobles and commoners. Even Illa also recognizes Anis's dilemma and leads Euphie into her experimental room to talk things out with Euphie. It's a tall order: the princess being queen vs. the girl invested in magicology, the throne will make or break her indefinitely of the things that she loves to do. Tilty refreshing Euphie of her feelings towards Anis, of the latter becoming queen and being a close friends of her's, Euphie has to steel her heart to ask the tough questions to the answer she seeks, and to choose smiles over kingdomhood, she would choose the former because of the immense love she had for Anis. The mysterious spirit contractor girl Lumi comes to both Euphie and her father Grantz to instill a spirit contract within the daughter, this was a contract that spelled a massive danger. And something that her dad once declined to, with Lumi claiming to stop her because of a recurring issue gone bad, there is more to this story. What's this spirit contract that would be an omen in the making? |

| First of all, I feel for Anis. With Algard exiled, her line to the throne has been restored, and she is expected to become the next monarch, but obviously, she doesn't strike us as a queen-type of person. She's a happy go lucky girl who wants to use magic and research magicology for a better tomorrow. To make things easier for the people around her, Anis was suppressing her feelings around this matter, since if she became queen, it would mean throwing away the things that mean the most to her, which would mean the loss of freedom, magicology, and potentially even Euphie, since that relationship wouldn't produce any children. Tilty sees Anis "giving up" and not fighting for her freedom, so she got angry, and Euphie was suppressing her feelings too, as she reluctantly supported Anis, because she's her assistant. Since the start of this series, rebellion has been a consistent theme, especially rebelling against the nature of a royal family. Euphie knows that going against the royal family's agenda is wrong, but she has her own wishes too, which is keeping Anis happy, and allowing her to do what she wants. She would go so far as to sacrificing her own freedom just so Anis could regain her freedom, which is quite something. Tilty's role in all this is making sure that both of them do what they want to do, and tell the truth about their feelings, because they're clear as day, they just have to admit it. Euphie's father had a similar situation on his hands, and he couldn't stop his best friend, Orphanse, to throw away what he loved to become king. Euphie's facing that situation now, but right now, she has no idea how dangerous (at least I assume it's dangerous) a spirit contract can be. It's probably like a deal with the devil. I don't know if this will head in a darker direction, or if Anis and Euphie will have a good ending to all this, but all I will say is, this episode, while having less of an emotional high, still felt very impactful, and it was great. |
| I really liked the dynamic between Tilty and Anis here. Both hate to be tied down by tradition, and they were kindred spirits in that sense, now Tilty is pissed off at seeing Anis just accept her fate. Also, the change to the ED was a nice touch |

| Anis has to give up on her dream for the kingdom, norm for the royalty but still cruel. Interested in Lumi and her story. Wonder what choice Euphie will end up taking at the end. She has come far though, she came to truly care for Anis and love her. |

| That was such a heavy episode... It's amazing how nobody wants Anisphia to be queen, yet the royal norm demands it. The commoners want to keep her as a friend, Euphy wants to keep her as a girlfriend, the nobles dont want her because she's eccentric and cant use magic and Tilty doesn't want it because she knows Anis will be unhappy. Also, Tilty is just the best. She always stays true to her feelings, comes up with practical solutions and even helps Euphy to realize her feelings. But I do wonder if "Don't blame me for whatever happens" has a deeper meaning - as in connection to Anis' dragon curse for example. Because in fact, Tilty would be the only one who actually benefits from having Anis as queen, as she can be more open with her curse research and stuff. Oh, and once again, music and visuals are just brilliant. The sad atmosphere was incredible! Now I can't wait to hear more about the spirit contract and Grantz' past! |

| Glad that Ilia was fine after all since she got injured in the last episode. I liked how Tilty was so blunt about how she felt and pressured Euphie to express her true feelings. Ani's situation is not ideal but if Euphie accepts the spirit contract does that mean Euphie or someone else becomes queen? Curious how that will work out. |

| Squeepig!! It might not be proper but with being as awesome as she is, and lets face it, Anis totally crushing on Euphie , and with her magicology. And Euphie being a magic genius. My first thought was artificial insemination or test tube babies to grow into proxie kings. That does wrap it up nicely. Maybe that spirit girl can help, cant wait for next eps to find out what happened between Euphies dad and current king. I sense many relationship regrets. |

| Yes! Euphie acknowledged her feelings!!! Its a shame cause I would love to see Anis and Euphie become queens but the series looks like they'll have something else in mind. I think Euphie would be perfect for queen and Anis can support her with her tech/love. As for bloodline I'm sure Anis can find some magic means for Euphie and Anis to have a kid lol. Also that last conversation they really were talking in riddles. I'm guessing its gonna be something like if you enter a contract you lose access to magic. |

| The bad thing about the spirit contract is probably something like "makes you immortal" or something, the girl seems way too young for someone who was here before Anis' dad was a king (also he did say that she didn't change at all) Honestly a weak episode imo, it's mostly drama and tension for nothing, oh well |

| Don't exactly understand why she'd have to quit magicology, or even get married. The only people that don't seem to like magicology are the nobles, and they can't do anything about it, as she'd be royalty. The citizens seem to love her, so they probably wouldn't care. And the only reason she'd need to get married would be for tradition's sake. She can just adopt a kid. And with her being queen she can probably even marry Euphie. This drama feels so weird. |

| This feels really weird, royal bloodline makes sense in Algard's case, because he can use magic, so his child should be able to as well. Anisphia on other hand can't use magic, and her child won't be able to use it either... IIRC this family could use magic for generations, and that's why they're royalty in this world pretty much, meaning that Anis bloodline is pretty much "useless" and it shouldn't even matter if she has a child or adopts one. Drama about magicology feels forced as well, other people don't even know what's she's doing in her workshop lmao, and at the beginning of Euphie arc they went with "Euphie can get the credit for everything, Anis is just assistant", so like what's even the problem? Anime started very good at the beginning, but last episodes are kinda meh. As a yuri fan I'm happy that they're gonna get together (I think so at least), but there's really a lot of unnecessary things in this series for my liking. |

| Tilty's anger is justified. Euphie doesn't grasp the full extent of what's really weighing Anis down, but she will blindly agree to enter a contract to ensure Anis remains happy. I dunno if I see that is quite a noble act or a noble act of stupidity... |
