| Poor Tamao, I don't get what Nagisa sees in Shizuma. She's just another although slightly more expressive Rei Ayanami clone. |
| I'm curious if Tamao has any history with Shizuma. She got turned down by Etoile since Nagisa wanted her to come to the trip. Then there's Tamao not being able to tell Nagisa who the second Etoile was, Renjou said it would be better if Shizuma told her. I wonder why Tamao didn't say the same thing Renjou said. |

| So, the late Ètoile appears to have some relation to both Tamao and Miyuki. Gotta wonder if she was sister to one of them (and maybe cousin to the other?). I had a feeling all along that the girl in Shizuma's flashbacks was her flame, and that she'd either died or left (I think I mentioned it in the thread for one of those eps). I thought at one point that it actually was Miyuki and they'd had a bad breakup and subsequently made up, but now that we know that's not the case... "...Holding onto my heart for me"...there was obviously a bit of symbolism/metaphor in play there, but what sort of sym - ...oh. Must've been a memento from the late Ètoile that she entrusted to Miyuki as a reminder not to get seriously involved with anyone without being certain that there was at least a decent chance it would stick. Maybe a "make sure you don't dishonour her memory" kinda thing. Honestly, Nagisa - couldn't you have told Shizuma to come get you after lunch, so Tamao could still get her Nagisa fix? I swear, that girl needs a new drug...preferably one named either Chiyo or Yaya. Maybe both. *ducks!* ...If there's not a makeout session in either the next ep or the one after... *runs!* XD |

| I felt for a very long time now, that this was the reason that Shizuma was so spaced out. and in deep thoughts. This other etoile, was or still is, a person [spirit most like/deceased] that shizuma entirely loved with a all her heart. she carried a torch for her. this person still is with her through everything. Though Nagisa will never replace her,, perhaps she has that same effect on Shizuma that this other person had and that is why is drawn to her. Both Miyuki and Tamoa not being able to talk about the other etoile, it affected them both. Hopefully the next episode will bring this to light further than just my mere speculation on things. ON ANOTHER SIDE NOTE HOLY SHIT MIYUKI'S BOOBS.^///^ *nuzzles them* And shizuma undress her partially to get what looked like to be a set of keys from her. Probably for the cottage. Shizuma did say whatever the keys were, were her heart. I quite enjoyed the calming viola/cello/violin piece that was being played. it really set the mood. |

| I also called the death of her former lover. Poor Tamao, she was so looking forward to lunch and a day out with Nagisa but then she went out with Shizuma to find out about the other girl. To the cottage that looked more like a mansion to me. I get why she likes Shizuma, she's nice and pretty and mysterious. I also liked Rei in NGE lol. |

| Oh, damn, we'll be having Etoile voting soon.. ;p It seems like there is no real candidates now?.. Hm.. So Shizuma couldn't find or lost her partner who would share Etoile's responsibilities?.. .. Oh, partner died.. Just what kind of relationship Shizuma and Miyuki have?.. It's not clear for me.. Miyuki supported Shizuma for some time, is that it?.. And what now?.. Shizuma said that Miyuki waited.. For what?.. For Shizuma returning to being normal?.. Or what?.. What is the meaning of this key?.. I'm not too sure about Shizuma's and Miyuki's relationship.. I have a slight feeling Shizuma might have had "romance to get over dead" with both Miyuki and Tamao before.. Because Tamao also knew something more about previous Etoile, it seems.. Well, we'll get story next episode, it seems.. Though, not necessarily, if Miyuki or Tamao were in relationship with Shizuma before, she might as well just tell that she romanced other girls, without mentioning names, or might omit this at all.. Well, will see.. |
| Didn't know there have to be two Etoile! Can't wait to hear Shizuma's backstory with other Etoile, on the next episode. |

| Beautiful episode. Autumn, falling leaves, playing the piano at night, trip to the villa... I still have a strong feeling that im reading some classic novel from the 19th century. About elections of the new Etoile, the main thing to me is that they dont choose that b*tch Kaname. And i feel sad for Tamao and Miyuki. They literally did nothing wrong, they just werent chosen. They looked so lonely together when Shizuma and Nagisa left to the villa. Well, what can they do, thats life. And also, its just me or visual quality become better in this episode? |
