| Whoa, a lot of new faces this episode...female elves and beastmen. It's hard to trust some of the new characters and tbh, this seemed like the most tense episode in the show yet. Hiraku got his hands full of responsibility this time. |

| Well the village population increased by a lot this time and the village gained the attention of some others as well which could bring trouble. And they have their own wine now which seemed to be highly anticipated by the girls. The village has a name now and the main is the leader it seems which is probably a hard task. |

| The Spring when the wyvern came, and it creates a mayhem for Machio and crew. The fight against the attacking wyvern, NGL, it is awesome when coupled with the OST, showing a sense of fear. That's when Machio's Almighty Farming Tool transforms into a spear to ferociously take it down, with minimal damage caused to the village. While this could be speculated that this was an assassination attempt, the most obvious case is that it was a lone monster on the hunt for prey. Making meals out of wyvern meat, from head to toe, it's delectable. But this has both the Demon Lord's Army and the Gatekeeper Dragons on notice and guard, and for now, there's nothing worth the worry than trying to pair meat with alcohol, using grapes. The grape stomping part is actually true, and it's keeping their rhythm in check to make sure the job is done efficiently. While the OP farmer has suddenly found himself in a wave of controversy, even from the gods perspective, it's Lu's sister Fiona that invites herself to Machio's village, plus her group of maid ogres with cows. Not wanting to be left out, Tia brings her clans over to add numbers to the village, and its wash-rinse-repeat for Machio in re-education of the new inhabitants, which is filling up the village real quick. What Machio's village needs left from the endless expansion, is a name. And aside from the celebrations, it's how they live their lives together in The Great Tree Village. Yes I agree, this is the best episode yet, right at the halfway mark. |

| Ok, now who wouldn't want to be the Mayor of Great Tree (Taiju) village? I love this adaption so much, it's one of the few that I've already read the source material, so it's really neat to see how it's treated/tweaked for motion. Sure, it's a sprawling harem fantasy, but it keeps rolling along without too much overt fanservice - which may open it up to a wider audience, and I'm cool with that. The world building reminds me a bit of Dr. Stone, although it's simpler. The music for the Wyvern attack was an excellent choice. I don't remember the remonstration of the God, is that an added feature? Anyway, what a pleasant way to start a Friday. |
| Machio took care of the wyvern pretty easily, that was cool. The music during the action scene was really good. The girls making wine from grapes looked really fun and liked the elves song. The maids are finally here and Tia brought more angels with her, they are all cute. We got more elves too and they want to reproduce, I really wonder with who. Also finally more men in the village, the lizardmen are here. Drunk Tia and Lu were really cute. Best episode yet, had the most fun watching it. |

The implications are enough. It's an interesting dramatic balance to strike - I hope they keep it classy all the way through, but the next few episodes will probably be challenging. |

It's interesting that with the elves they removed any implication of "night activities" or the MC is just in complete denial, but that particular aspect isn't necessary to move the story forward, at least not in terms of what this season will adapt. I'm not sure about the next couple episodes, but it would be really odd if he started jumping into things headfirst now. | Ok, no wyvern waifu. They cooked it's ass instead xD The more the merrier. The party was the most fun scene so far. | Nah lmao why did they snap with the animation today? This was incredible. From the spear piercing the dragon to stomping on the grapes, there was a LOT of love and care that went into this episode. Even the character designs looked sharper today. Seems like the story is starting to transition from the slower paced SoL to something greater. We know someone sent that wyvern to recon the village and is aware of its existence, we’ve got a full cast now and some curious worldbuilding. Starting to give off tensura vibes with this now. Lmao do men not exist in this world?? HELP, my mom walked in on me licking the screen lmaooo |

| easily the best episode yet. music was fantastic from the outset and throughout, it felt like the stakes really started to rise with the plot progression, and that cozy drunken party to conclude it. fantastic! |
| The fighting music was unexpected but a nice touch, made me a bit nostalgic for Fairy Tail, funny seeing the demons and dragons react to the incident too. Guess Hiraku is like a deterrent now from getting invaded in the future. I hate how quickly they pushed so many new characters on us... give us a second to breathe also how many generic elves do you need to add so far only one stands out, give some personality to a few of the others... Even with that complaint I'm still enjoying this. Funny seeing the god of agriculture seemingly the most upset at her statue being an old man rather than for any other reason. edit: Yasuharu Takanashi is working on this that explains the music for the fight and Johannes Nilsson from what I've read did the elves song. They're really adding a nice touch to this series. |
