[SPOILERS] About The Story Timeline

It is said that the current story isn't the main/first timeline, instead this is the second timeline. In the main/first timeline Shion didn't die and Rimuru didn't become a True Demon Lord and so the aftermath of that is he dies when the Eastern Empire invades. After knowing Rimuru's death Chloe who was in love with Rimuru travels back the time and tried her best to change Rimuru's fate and sealed herself somewhere after that. And that's how the second timeline alias the current story exist. And is it true that the coffin where Chloe from the main timeline was sealed is in the hand of Ruminas?

Seems like you pretty much covered it!To my understanding, Chloe time travels because of Rimuru’s death so he’s dead in ‘timeline’, and so she travels back (unconsciously I think?) to set up the foundation for this new Rimuru’s future.
That’s how he connected w Valentine so quick, she told her he would be coming and to expect him.
The main difference is well, Rimuru is a Demon Lord to rival the strongest in this time line and he survived to the point of this revelation.
Complicated reasons why Chloe was sealed but basically: it was to prevent a paradox when chloe’s younger self got isekai’d. the older Chloe’s(time traveller) soul and the younger soul could t exist at the same time so she was sealed and her consciousness just kindof stayed w young Chloe?(not exactly sure if they merged or the soul just contained itself in the seal from Valentine)
Also Hinata managed to stay alive in spirit form in Chloe’s body where they tag teamed setting up the past properly (moral support and mathematician counts lol). Important note is that when Chloe is sealed to prepare for young Chloe, Hinata’s consciousness is still w her AND she believes and expects Rimuru will save them both in the future.
Finally, they name Chloe’s future self Chronoa. (The self who travels back after Rimuru’s death, or in this case, due to him being alive and conditions being met to meet Valentine)Not exactly sure on the mechanics but what ends up happening is that this name Chronoa, stays with Chloe’s consciousness like a monster name and over time turns her into a non-sentient auto kill human/ doll. She is revered as the ‘strongest hero’ because she sealed Veldora but has no control of her self due to her consciousness residing in lil’ Chloe. Hinata just kindof fell into stasis holding off the half of Chloe’s body that “is Chronoa” waiting for the day Rimuru pulls through.
Demon Lord= GG no RE confirmed

Why are you posting this in Season 2 Forum? Season 2 100% wont cover that arc of the story.



No particular reason, i just want to know deeper about Chloe's backstory and because I found less people active in the novel entry i thought to myself that someone might answer all my doubts if i post the thread here. And imo it's very likely that there might be more foreshadowing about Chloe's backstory later in the season 2, i mean the anime did some foreshadow too back in season 1

I like it because this season shows what they missed in season 1 so that it makes the audience not confused when entering the main story

Ok now I am a little bit confused because i thought Chloe jump back in time serveral time and not just once or am i wrong about that?

Yes, I am not illiterate. If that's what you believe then fine, but these spoilers are probably going to be season 3 or 4 spoilers at the rate the story is going. And if you want to talk timeline then unless you're thinking of the WN, or thinking of all other timelines where rimuru dies as the main or first timeline then this isn't the second timeline. In the LN she does this many, many times, but I didn't know she was actively doing it. I thought it was just something that happened to her because of one of her skills or something.

sins the series is adapted from the manga i assume we talk about manga

so in first timeline veldora was not sealed in that cave?

sealing veldora was to set up rimuru to meet veldora and the 3 adventures cause they know about how to revive the dead?
