The animation quality isn't even that bad, why are people saying it's shit?

Have you seen Ex-Arm and Berserk 2016? Those animes have worse animation compared to this. What even are people offended by here? I see no problem with the animation. Even then, it's kinda ridiculous to nitpick the anime based on animation. One could argue about where the animation drops go, but even then it's actually alright, doesn't come close to Ex-Arm and Berserk 2016 at all. Maybe this anime didn't deserve a low score even though scores are meaningless anyway. The animation quality is alright. Even then, I know that there will always be at least one or two animes every year where people will try to nitpick on the animation of everything, even if it's beautifully animated.

the story wasn't good had somewhat potential and some of the characters were just down right irritating to see on screen. Kasumi was the main reason why I kept watching it

low scores ≠ bad series.
more people not knowing how to appreciate a series = low scores.
This is one of the "very good" series I've watched in the past.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
