A Certain Magical Index (light novel)
| So I finished Railgun and found it pretty entertaining, I was told I didn't need to watch index but I still forced my way through S2 cause of Accelerator, . I know this season wasn't good giving the score but I want to know if it's really unwatchable, Like on a scale of bad adaptations where does it fit TPN S2, Berserk 2016, Tokyo ghoul re, devil is a part timer S2, Blue Exorcist S2 and Psycho Pass S2 TPNS2 being atrocious to Psycho Pass S2 being bearable Also which manga chapter/LN should I pick up for this season , if it really is unbearable. |

| I haven't read the novel, but I found this season to be the weakest of the three. It's not so bad that it's unwatchable, but it's very convoluted and hard to keep up with. A lot of characters and events get introduced with no proper background or explanation. |
| It is a complete incomprehensible clusterfuck and ransom shit happens seemingly for no reason because of lighting fast pacing. ON TOP OF THAT this season butchers arguably the bar LN content. You will have absolutely no idea what is going on. Just spare yourself torture and read LN. |

| Yes if you have read the novel, I found it enjoyable seeing the arcs animated even with the bad animation, complete mess pacing wise though since they decided to adapt all 9 novels into 26 episodes. Not sure for non LN readers, probably should be able to understand most of it except for maybe the battle royale and british royal family arcs which seemed the most rushed |
