People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| well that was certainly a crazy ending lol Overall it was kinda eh. Definitely would've been better if it was longer, had a pretty interesting idea with using the nosebleeds to represent trauma, if only it went the wholesome ending rather than having the dude turn out to be a major scumbag lol (though I will admit that was very unexpected) 6/10 |

| Great concept with a solid complex character in Mako Higari, but the last arc and ending itself was a little disappointing. For her mother's obsession in cleanliness and purity after learning of her husband's cheating, teaching her daughter to be proper and find only her destined one creating a trauma in Mako that causes her nose to bleed from dirtiness of an environment or someone's being through contact is fascinating. Thus the desperation for sex with anyone to test love on any man who can't cause her to bleed from a kiss or having sex is very captivating as it is erotic while staying intriguing of a character on how in protects her from "dirty" men, physically and figuratively. It's fast-paced and fairly short in how it switches from men to men to how she jumps at any opportunity to try out any men in her sight. To the point that she manipulates all of them and is even willing to create a scenario that forces an opportunistic situation, like being stuck together alone in a rubble. That reckless careless personality from her trauma is very intriguing. Unfortunately, the abrupt change of plot from an old classmate coming back into her life, revealing of his long past love and easily loving each other successfully unlike any other man feels inconsistent to what was experienced before... because what is revealed later is that he's a liar. A cheater, manipulator, and in debt. Which her nose-blood-loss somehow didn't sense from him out of genuine love for the first time at 29 years old. I personally don't like that sense of her ability being defective for a moment until (to the rational of the story), it fully realizes at the best last moment, even though it had a few senses of it before. The ending itself of being manipulated into marriage by him and flooding blood after he says "I do." in marriage, finally realizing he was lying and passionately rejecting him with optimism of her future is inspiring as the attendants praise her. It's not bad at all, in fact the ending is entertaining for the shock of the truth being revealed with a great bloody scene, linked with a strong monologue. I only wish it was more developed and showed her future of finding her destined man for love and what her struggle and growth as a character would have been like if it the story had better pacing and length. It's overall decent with great elements, but could have been executed far better and not force the last arc so fast. 5/10. |
