The upcoming BokuAi and KimiAi movies are going to be released together, and while there's clearly a connection between the two movies, the site isn't clear yet about their relation, but from the movies' PV, it seems that KimiAi coming first in order of the events, also some novel readers don't see a problem in starting with either of them, but they recommend starting with KimiAi for best experience.

May be good to note that the thing about the order was also the case for the Novels.
They came out the same day , and there was no indication as to which one should be read first.

That is funny because when I was reading the synopsis’s I decided that is the one I wanted to watch first.

That's the one I feel would be best watched first. Personally, If I see koyomi and kazune establish connections and feelings for one another first I'd be less inclined to accept him with the girl shiori (?).

Koyomi is their last name. It looks like they are brothers, Hidaka lives with his father and Takasaki lives with his mother after their parents got divorced.

Oh, yeah, my slip up, first name is different. The point is the relationship of one of them should not prevent the relationship of another one.

They say you can watch it in any order since depending on which one you start first, the ending is kinda different.

I personally recommend Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku he, first. (Shiori in focus) since my local cinema showed this one first followed by the other shortly after. This one has a post-credits scene which acted as a good start for the second movie Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi he.
But it could probably be the same another way around but I kinda didn't get that vibe.
Anyway, Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku he is more of a tearjerker than the other one with Kazune in focus.

I just finished the light novel. The two are the same person but in different parallel world. I think the difference is the last name, one uses father's last name while the other uses mother's. First name is Koyomi.

I just finish the novels and I planned to watch both movies too. So I would like to recommend you that the proper watch order is depend on your personal taste. If you, like myself, prefer a happy ending than bitter sweet ending *AFTER WATCH/READ BOTH OF THE STORIES* then start with KimiAi thrn finish with BokuAi. But if your taste are the other way around then BokuAi and then KimiAi. Hope this can help you with the decision.

Thats a spoiler tho wth. Now that i know its a bit disappointing, im not gonna watch it but telling the ending is a major spoiler imo. Id rather get a surprised by their future than knowing and got to think about their future the whole entire movie.

I started with KimiAi hoping for a good ending of Main Character with you-know-who but it didn't make a difference. Both movies have same endings.
Sad

Edit: There is a happy ending. But many of us missed it. They both met at the cross walk in the universe where Shiori didn't die instead of the universe where they never met and got married afterwards. End of KimiAi hints at it. Koyomi time shifted while Shiori parallel shifted.

i started with bokuAi and then kimiAi. I think it was just as great. but it's awesome to be able to choose which ever movie first and see how each experience is. these movies were honestly very good in my opinion and I hope to see more movies like this in the future. I really wish we could see more of shiori. I want to be able to see her full happy ending with koyomi.

Most say KimiAi first and BokuAi second. I watched it the other way around and i think both are valid. Actually KimiAi got a post credit scene and has a FIN at the very end unlike BokuAi so to me it looked more like it should be watched second. And a certain letter scene of BokuAi i find is way more impactful if you watch that movie first and it kinda blows your mind because you got no idea what even happened until you watch KimiAi.

follow this guide. I guess I make the right call. it's make a lot of sense after I finished KimiAi(Red) then watch BokuAi(Blue). I can totally have a strong feeling if I happens to watch Blue first then I would be confuse when he immediately realise his world or not. also who's going to pay close attention enough at the beginning to know MC with Mom or Dad in between world.

IMO after watching Boku first, and seeing all the reviews recommending the opposite, there is no right order.

I’m glad with the order I watched, since I feel I better understood the MCs personality, the technology, and the characters’ drive, and also the post credit scene in Kimi says “Fin”, it felt like a great wrap up. I also didn’t feel resentment towards either relationship, as some mention.

I watched Boku first because I went in blind and it was the order in which it was added to the website I used. I read the comments about watching Kimi first afterwards.

TL;DR: Flip a coin!

Of course there isn't , it's the whole concept of those 2 Novels/Movies.
They were made to be a complete story no matter which you read/watch first , while also giving a different experience to those who did the opposite.
I truly find it maddening that peoples are ruining this simple but interesting concept with their overanalyze , and their need to have someone valid their opinions.
