| Bruh this kinda slaps! Right off the bat with this first episode we get a duel with our stuttering heroine against who seems to be the best pilot in the whole school- who gets absolutely folded once she takes control of "Aerial". Although the duel that I actually want to see is mobile-suit-gundam-tomato vs. mushoku-tensei-bread I know next to jack-sh*t about gundam, my only real exposure to it was seeing gundam wing in Ready Player One lol, so basically nothing. So I'm glad that apparently you can watch this as a standalone, being completely new to gundam, with pretty much no issues. I don't know if gundam has some overarching story that "witch from mercury" can connect to though. If I get confused later on down the line I guess the answer would be yes. But judging based on this first episode, it seems like anyone can simply pick this up and enjoy it no problem. Also just like that, our two main characters straight up got engaged to each other. | Really loved the first episode, with the first episode being quite literally just the first episode of Utena. Now I wonder where the series is going to go from here with those student council whatever guys. Would be really nice to see the main characters end up together, to be honest it would be quite tone deaf if they didn't explore something akin to the line of this in the anime. They even went as far to confirm that homosexuality was a normal thing either at the Asticassia School of Technology or the colonies surrounding earth sphere. There's of course going to be those who are upset at the homage to Utena because they came to see their plastic models fight. |

| This is some Tonikaku Kawai lvl shit. First episode and we already have them engaged. Gundam with a highschool setting? Sign me up. The animation is awesome the bgm is fire and the OP is by YOASOBI. WOW a full banquet it is. Just from two episodes i can tell this Gundam is gonna be tragic too. |

| This animation is beautiful. I loved the mecha battle. It gives me agony when someone uses something of mine without knowing how to use it and breaks it, I would do the same as the protagonist, she did the right thing to take Miorine out of control, and still put it on her lap. Yuri has already started 1000 an hour, now you are my fiancé. I loved! |

| I honestly thought Suletta was going to get beaten, but something would intervene. Pleasantly surprised. Although one cant help but wonder why her mother didnt teach her to be a bit less flashy. Now all eyes are on her. |

| Not interested in yuri stuff, the plot for the first episode is really dumb, and the male characters all look like they are designed for fujoshi and belong in some male idol game. Think I will just drop this. Too bad, because the prologue was somewhat interesting. |

This show ignores fujoshi, so if the merch is anything to go by, Sunrise is desperate to turn the new female lead and her friend/fiancee into waifu (the goods are trying to sell you their mecha and key chains, but the figurines are only with girls). Although, as you can see, the male characters look much cute than they do. So, it's up to you, I'm already confused in trying to figure out who the target audience of the new show. |

| At first I thought it was gonna be like a Gundam AGE-themed show (which I still believe it may be like) but let's hope it's a more common Gundam state of war show. I am very pleased with the top voice acting in this first episode. Though I didn't expect a time-lapse from the prologue. I am not too sold on the Aerial Gundam design because it reminds me of Exia and I just don't like that kind of robot. The music was amazing. I am really impressed with Oomama-san, let's hope this is the show that gives him some popularity as an anime composer. Enjoyed the high school vibes, let's see how annoying these young brats in space can be with our two heroines. |

The second girl is something like the most important character in the main cast after the protagonist. But she is not the main character. |

| I liked that MC being depicted as strong right off from episode 1 or prologue actually. Also that Eri's space suit is cute lol. It even has the teddy bear icon on the helmet. Well, the best moment is the Aerial stave blocking to Dilanza mutilation. Feels like a production model Zaku being mutilated by a Freedom. I just can't have enough "wow sugoi", a grin, laugh, smile then laughed again. It is truly 100% "OMAE WA MO SHIT-N-DIE-RU!!". But I praised the mobile suits seems really a safe one. It does not even exploded or showing any alert alarm in the cockpit after being cut into many slices like that or probably just because Eri not hit the reactor or cockpit. Btw, Mio's duel records shows all 0. Guess the pops really put much no care for her, not even a mobile suit for his daughter. Some stuffs recalled back to the prologue however... I wonder how much layer already Eri reached after the prologue. To be able to control 11 Gund-bits in such precision definitely not gonna be your just few years of practice-in-the-morning there. |
