| Crunchyroll Awards are a joke and that joke sucks. What do you expect from Crunchyroll, they nominated Eren for both antagonist and protagonist, but never nominated one of the good characters like Askeladd for anything. |

| My personal AOTY so far is between this and Kaguya-Sama S3. Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer were obviously good too. Objectively, this has to be at least top 5, if not top 3. So far. We’ve got some heavy hitters still to come. Maybe Chainsaw Man, Mob Psycho S3, To Your Eternity S2, or something else will steal it away. |

| Its definitely my "AOTY", but I think that is impossible to win such award, mainly because of 2 points: -It's not on a popular streaming site like Crunchyroll or Netflix -It's seen as "controversial" here in the west. But who cares, these award shows are always very rigged and unbiased. People should just not give so much importance to them. |
| Currently AOTY for me, with Edgerunners second. If CSM was 2 cours and did Rezes arc it would definitely contend MIA for AOTY but as it stands MIA is just too good. |

| I am yet to find a company that knows what it’s doing when handing awards such as these so I don’t expect MIA to win AOTY. It is easily one of the best anime to have dropped this year. No doubt about that. |

| 1. So far I agree, but Mob psycho 100 III still can be better. 2. last year fruits basket wasn't the best. fruits basket has great characters, but that's where it's AOTY worthy elements end. I would give anime of the year to either sonny boy or odd taxi last year. 3. none of this matters anyways because chainsaw man will win anyways. which I am fine with. last thing I want is aot s4 p2 winning, when I thought it was the worst season. I really don't want to look at anime awards, and realize s4 p2 won in a year like this, and in the same award show where s3 p2 lost to not vinland saga, not mob psycho 100 II, not beastars, not the promised neverland, It lost to fucking demon slayer. and that was easily the best season of aot. now imagine the weakest (imo) season beating made in abyss, kaguya season 3 and mob psycho. that would be the ultimate insult. |
