I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the story in the anime and I still do, but having read this portion in the manga, I feel like there was some lost potential and character moments that would've been really cool to see animated. I think it would be cool to see MAPPA make their own version of this where they follow the manga more accurately after they're done with part 3. what do you think, would it be something you wanna see? Or would it be unnecessary and just confuse newer viewers?

nah, i much prefer the way WIT did attack on titan. im not one of these people who thinks MAPPA is doing a terrible job, that couldnt be further from the truth, i think that MAPPA is doing a solid job. i just heavily prefer WITs style

Although this arc is better in the manga, I would still love to see a Mappa remake of this arc without any exclusions from the manga. Wit also did a brilliant job though.
And, how tf are people saying that this arc felt boring/is the worst AoT arc? Just because it has less action doesn't mean that its bad/boring.
Every single arc was equally enjoyable and amazing for me when I watched this series as a newbie and even on two rewatches.

What Wit did with season 1 saved AoT. The start of the manga is really weirdly paced. Sure they took some liberties here and there but I feel that was for the best. Season 2 and onwards is already really close to the manga so I don't see a point.

A while back I was just relaxing while scrolling YouTube Shorts, and there I saw a MAJOR spoiler that will undoubtedly happen, not being a Manga Reader i was just waiting for last part of the season and a Manga Reader posted a Spoiler which I never would have wanted to know till I saw the anime myself. I just hope that doesn't happen though it is inevitable 😕
