I have recently jumped into this thing called "Anime", and I'm pretty satisfied with what it has to offer, I've been lately very skeptical about my content, whether it'll be a movie, webseries, and the likes, and when I finally decided to get into this medium of entertainment which I have never bothered before (Anime), I was a bit confused about which could be the possibiliy good one to get into this "Anime" thing, after knowing that Anime has to offer both series and movies to their viewers, I decided to start things with a movie, and then I came across this movie name "Ninja Scroll", what maked my mind to watch this was the title (after seeing in "Ninja" in the title, I felt that it could have some great sword action and would be having a lot of ninja things, interesting enough to watch), basic synopsis (looked good on paper) and trailer (the animation looked really good), it looked pretty promising and I wasn't wrong about it at all. what I specifically like about this movie was it's consistently good animation quality and storytelling, giving everything proper detail, time and attention, so, as a newbie to this medium of entertainment I want to know from the community that what could be some other good ones which are similar to it in some way and can possibly be a good watch.

I would recommend Basilisk from 2005.

Well, Thanks for both the Suggestion and Welcome, after you mentioned I have checked it and it turns out to be a sequel to the "Ninja Scroll", so, I'm definitely gonna watch it but as I'm already watching some shows regularly, I'll need atleast two movies to watch on my weekends, so, I specifically called out the community to give me some good movie recommendations which are similar to this particular movie (Ninja Scroll) in some way.

Thanks for the Suggestion, It looks similar to "Ninja Scroll" though it's an anime series and I want a movie, but I appreciate your suggestion as it looks appealing to me, I'll definitely gonna start watching it after I get done with any of the other anime series I'm watching currently.

I just finished watching this one: Lupin III - Island of Assassins (1997). Gritty action movie with similar art style, great fight choreography, use of poisoning as a plot device which lends itself to the tragedy of characters' backstories to flesh them out and humanize an emotional struggle...

I'm gonna add it to Recommendations, though
I advise to read a bit about the main characters from Lupin III beforehand because the movie comes from a episodic franchise with no relation between entries apart from the recurring leads: Lupin III, Fujiko Mine, Inspector Zenigata, Goemon Ishikawa and Daisuke Jigen. That's all the homework, enjoy haha :)

Thanks a lot for your detailed recommendation, I am aware of Lupin III existence, but haven't seen it yet, might be because it's not just one series or movie, but thanks to you I got a very easy way to get into this through a movie you suggested, I can't say when I'll get into the main series which follows the episodic way of storytelling, but as you mentioned the movie can be watched alone without going through the main series by just reading about some prime characters from the main series so, I'll definitely gonna try this easy way to get into this, this will probably gonna be my next week watch as I am gonna watch "Sword of the Stranger" this week, thanks again for this recommendation.

Films I'd recommend are "Demon City Shinjuku" and "Wicked City". They were directed by the same person as "Ninja Scroll" - Yoshiaki Kawajiri. I recently watched Ninja Scroll for the first time myself and had watched those two films prior. I should warn that "Wicked City" does have some scenes of sexual assault. Since you've seen "Ninja Scroll", then you have some idea of what to expect.
