| The last page was absolutely heartbreaking. Checking off the first item on her literal bucket list. Bringing Shizuku and Shiori together so that they won't be lonely when she's gone. I cried. I'd been able to hold it in until then. I doubt it will be the last time this manga will make me cry. Even if the ending is bloody obvious. Kaori is going to die in Shizuku's arms. The only things I'm not sure about are, will Kaori live long enough to hear the end of Shizuku's story (if she died while Shizuku was reading the ending to her that would be brutal, it would also be brutal, and I'm actually expecting this, if Shizuku wrote an epilogue after she dies), will Kaori die in the hospital or not (not really expecting a Narcissu style breakout though it's not exactly off the table, but she could be allowed to live her final days at home) and, will they get married before she dies (this happened in Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora though all they showed was a picture of them getting married and they never showed Rika's death as she still had a few years left to live, a friend of mine also did this when he knew he only had a few days left to live because of throat cancer, seriously F*CK CANCER). |

| Yep, she planned the meeting. Damn this just gets more depressing. You know, for a moment when she was getting excited over the call I forgot about all the despressing stuff and enjoyed the cute moment. But indeed, it was only a moment. |
