| Man, Faputa's entrance and speech were so well executed. Gave me the absolute goosebumps, so good. And yeah, the village is around 150 years old actually. No idea how many years that equates to on the surface tho. Kayle_x_Morgana said: So that big monster was the person that raped that one girl? Or was it he only tortured her. I couldn't really tell. | What an episode, brilliant final five or so minutes as well. This is a top five soundtrack as far as I'm concerned, beautiful music. |

Beautiful shot, when I was checking it out I thought there was something strange about her pose and this explains it. Thanks for pointing this out. |

| Another good episode! Reg finally found out what he promised Faputa while Faputa accepted Reg is too kind. Some more inner workings of the village were revealed and Riko figured out why she's so valuable to them, what they'd want her to do, and why. In the last few mins also some pot mitty and nanachi, who finally awake from slumber now knowing the backstory of the ganja. I guess next week Faputa's revenge. Riko will be on her own because Reg will be down for the next 2 hours. I'm glad to see Nanachi again. Wazukyan asking Riko if she hated him now was somewhat funny to me. She's seen enough. |

| Omg look at Reg's professional aiming XD You can't miss a king kong size target when your beam has a radius of 100 meters! Faputa's speech of revenge was kind of epic, a bit like from a western movie, so awesome. But I don't think that all the cute villagers deserve to die, except the asshole Wazukyan Riko and friends better dug and cover, before getting caught in the coming massacre. |

| Kuno Misaki's voice acting and Kevin Penkin's soundtrack in that scene... godly quality. The visuals were nice too, and the unique ED. Overall very well directed. |

| if I could rate this episode an 11/10, I would. The ending transition was so clean, this studio really outdid themselves. I was starting to get bored with this season but ep 9 reeled me right back in. |

Reg doesn't perform well under pressure, and that was a very overwhelming situation. That's why him and Riko are so great together, because she does. |

| Just rewatched this and I still got chills from Faputas monologue at the end. It's so well done. The music is so fitting! The haunting organ with the swelling synth noises set the perfect tone for the horrors about to occur. Kevin Penkin is an incredible composer. |

| outstanding episode. I honestly can't think of any other anime like Made In Abyss. it managed to balance adventure, dark fantasy and horror and wrap it up in a cute presentation. it's been hard to watch at times but utterly compelling, I can already tell next week's episode will be crazy. |
