Such a shame. It was a clear favourite. I love those series with spite. I hope some other studio adapts it, instead of Netflix. Fuck netflix

Well yeah - I guess it was not popular enough. I watched it cause in a documentary on creating Anime they mention it as a piece created basically for female audience. It didn’t become one of favorites but actually I enjoyed watching it- I also finished it in 2 days - I would have definitely watched the 3rd season as well. It is said..

That's disappointing to hear, but then again, I didn't have much hope for a third season to begin with. I wonder if the series would have become more popular if they had done a better job adapting the manga which is rated a lot higher here on MAL than the series. Even so, it baffles me that the anime Dr. Stone, which has a very similar premise and setting, is so much more popular than 7Seeds. I found that series incredibly silly, but each to his own... I'll probably read the 7Seeds manga at some point and try to avoid anime series that are not or not yet completed.

If you happen to know a completed anime or manga that is similar to 7Seeds (except Dr. Stone obviously), feel free to recommend it to me.

It's sad but it does make sense, the adaptation wasn't very good compared to the manga, I still loved seeing it animated tho. If you liked the series please consider checking out the manga, you can start from the beginning to see everything you missed or start from around chapter 100, that's about s2 finale. I think 110 is the end of season 2

I just binged both seasons and I really enjoyed the storyline. I actually liked being frustrated by some of the characters and hoped for their development.

Although the firts temp had the most flaws in the pace because the characters in a way were rushed and didnt gave them the proper spcae to breath and get an more organic development, i liked the overall theme of the series and the stlye also, the animation was no great but at least not horrible, i didnt knew the author of the series after finished the firts part that i searched, so i could undertand that touch of shoujo that had on it although didnt really bother the overall plot, just were a couple of ikemen boys to appeal the female audience and of course some strong females characters. In the second part was where the thing got better though the bases where set in a way after the rushed/disconforting/wasted potential introduction in the firts part, i was expecting the third season but sadly after this i dont think we are gonna get it , really sad after watching so many series that are really lackbuster and still get an adaptation instead of these ones.

I binged the whole series in 2 days also. Liked the story, some of the characters annoyed me but nothing's perfect and survival situations tend to bring out the best and worst of people.
