Welp, so much for the negotiations.

On the other hand, it was pretty impressive to see Haku use his powers in all its glory. Seems the guy has even more potential than what he's shown.

The battle looked like it came from a mid mecha. Too bad, it was short. The CGI did their best.

Haku showing off the Powers of the Mask. The fight with the princess of Tuskur and Yamato begins. One is born from a god. The other is born from the original god that we know of. Dang man. Wow.

Ukon Force Ghost appeared to Haku know how to use the mask power.

1 min Ultraman fight.

That negotiation with their fists, sound just the basic, we were testing you or whatever. I mean why heal the princess in first place.

damn. really great episode. it was a bit fast-paced. however, it didn't feel like it. It didn't bother me one bit. I thoroughly enjoyed this ep.
my only complaint is that the twins dont explain how can haku fight mikazuchi in the akuruturuka form and why is the mask stuck to his face. i know the answer already so it doesn't matter to me but for those who haven't played the VN, idk what they think of that

They're still adapting this poorly. The pacing is too quick and they're glossing over or straight up cutting important parts of plot and character development. In particular two important scenes for character and plot development were completely butchered. One was turned into a throwaway comedy scene that lasted 30 seconds and the other had it's focus removed completely so it had no impact. Also a terrible place to end the episode. It breaks all tension in the scene entirely. Also again animation completely tanks whenever any action is happening. They really have no clue how to adapt this.

Poor Nekone she is on a lose lose situation, already lost her brother but then so she feels like she is losing Haku while also forgetting her real brother.

Anju is an incredibly strong monster but Kuon is on a whole other level, both descendants of god.

umm...was Kuon always that strong? She crushed a sword with her bare hand! She kept that creepy smile on her face, too.

Pacing is still too fast, no way around it. But considering this is like a 60 hour VN that was kind of unavoidable in just 2 cours so I'm not exactly surprised

They're still doing some memorable scenes quite well though but there's also a lot of stuff skimmed over far too quickly

For some reason I always though it is a false Yamato princess on the poster/in the opening. But it was Kuon. I wonder, if her plan is to actully reel out the MCs to join the war?

Finally the princess enters. Let's just call her Kuon if you were even paying attention.

Great to see her again and next episode will be a good one. We'll see if Anju can get a comeback.

Was expecting the fight to be outdoors on the field, I hope it will happen next week.

I really hate the "I'm going to protect you by not telling you anything" trope. It's the most contrived, shitty kind of story telling. I haven't played the game and assume they're trying to keep the audience in the dark for some sort of big reveal later, but there's better ways to do it than treating the MC and the audience like children.

It seemed to me that Haku was rather scared when he realized he couldn't take off the mask anymore in the game

Kuon acts like the bad guy to protect her country and also Anju. They are both very powerful thanks to their ancestry.

Awesome to see Haku being able to use the Akuruka. Does he suffer the same issue if he over uses it? I mean, he's a full fledged human. Was wondering if he'd be able to use it, and why he was able to remove the mask before

Kuon being OP was sick as well

Bumped this from a 7 to a 9

is this going to be one of those "i'm testing your resolve" situations?
